Montana's POV
The next day not going to work with or for Zeus is odd but refreshing at the same time. I choose to spend the day looking for a new job, and I don't speak to him all day. That's until I hear a knock at the door around six.
I make my way to it, still in my pajamas from the day when I open it and see Zeus. He's in his suit but in his hands he holds white roses. He listened. I have always loved white roses, they're classy and elegant.
"Zeus," I smile as I see him. He walks in and lays a delicate kiss on my forehead handing me my flowers. I take a smell of his suit as he hugs me into his arms.
"Hi Mont," he whispers back as I smile. "What are you doing here? I thought we said dinner at seven?" I ask as he nods.
"At seven yes, but I know you and I'm not waiting another two hours for you to decide what to wear so go get ready." He smiles as I laugh slightly. He knows me well then. I lean up and kiss his lips before pulling away and walking to my room. I look over my shoulder when he puts the flowers in a vase on the countertop.
I don't expect him to follow me into my room but he does. "Nope, you can't keep your hands to yourself and I need to get ready," I tell him trying to push him out and he sighs.
"I won't try anything I swear," he fires back as I sigh and let him into the room. He sits on the bed and I quickly go to the bathroom and lock the door behind me.
I quickly shower, blow dry my hair, and start on my makeup. I'm finished within thirty minutes of that and I wrap my towel around my body before opening the door and going to the room. Zeus has made himself comfortable watching television with Millie beside him.
"What should I wear?" I ask him walking over as he glances up and down my body. "I'd prefer nothing," he smiles as I glare and he sits up. "The blue dress you wore to work once," he tells me as I walk over to the closet. I know which one he's talking about because the color I was in love with.
"This one?" I ask pulling it out. "Yeah, I like that one," he answers as I step into the closet and slip it on. I walk back over to Zeus and let him zip up the back of it before slipping on my heels and adjusting my hair and lipstick.
"Okay, now why did I have to wear this if we're just going to the penthouse?" I ask coming back to him as he adjusts his suit and stands to his height.
"I'm taking you to dinner in the city." He tells me as I stare at him shockingly. "What?" I ask as he nods.
"I think it'll show everyone how serious we are. Plus, I'm sure the press will think highly of you in this." He tells me as he steps back to view my dress. I do love this dress and it may be simple but I love the way it looks on my body.
"Zeus do you really think that's smart after what happened and the photos?" I whisper as he nods. "If we get stopped for questioning we'll just clear them up before the interview." He tells me as he pulls me to him.
I hold his hand in mine as I grab my clutch quickly and fill it with my phone and lipstick. We both say goodbye to Mille for the night and walk out of my apartment together. I'm shocked at how Zeus has changed for me and I love him for it, but at the same time I don't know what's going through his head and I'm scared that he's not into us.
"I know I said I was sorry and I don't know how to prove it to you. I don't know what to do. But Mont I've never went this soft for anyone." He mumbles out after we get on the elevator alone and he's holding my hand in his.
