In a room in the Ministry of Defense,the Tsar was receiving a briefing on the strategy being used for the war with the Papaldia Empire from both the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.

"I will now outline our strategy once more."Said Zhukov,back from Fenn

A projector was turned on,showing a map of the imperial capital Esthirant,Duro and Parneus and the surrounding areas. A stick was used to assist with the explanation.The Papaldia Empire was quite far from Russia, but it was very close to the Kingdom of Altarus.

"This relies on the modifications to Mu's airfield in the Kingdom of Altarus being completed for us to use as a military base,but..."

The stick circled an area a bit north of Esthirant.

"There is a very large enemy base here. Fortunately for us, the Papaldia Empire has a tendency of building their forts and bases far from their cities. The fact that they concentrate all their forces in once place leads us to believe they're completely unfamiliar with our style of modern warfare. Papaldia has 3 of these large military bases; the one here appears to be the cornerstone of the capital's defenses.This base has a fair amount of aerial combat power; we've confirmed wyverns. In addition, at Esthirant's southern port, there are a few hundred ships-of-the-line anchored there. As expected of the famed conquerors of the Third Civilization, their fleet would probably make the nineteenth century British Empire quake in their boots.''said Zhukov"For the ships at the port,two flotillas of 20 battleships and 5 carriers should be sufficient; for the ground bases,near Duro and Esthirant we'll send a 1000 each Pe-8 Bombers with 500 MIG-3 escorts fighter and to conduct large scale bombing with 5000 tons bombs.That should wipe them out."

''Wait,hold on a moment," the Tsar interrupted. "'Large scale bombing without hitting the civilians? Isn't not revenge like?"

The official took a breath, then answered the question.

"The IRAF's goal at first for Duro and their capital is to hit their military bases and military production.For Parneus we will still send 1000 Pe-8 and 500 MIG-3 and this time we will bomb the entire city to flames,while all this takes place 500 MIG-3 will be on standby in case 1 of the 3 groups needs them."Said Zhukov

"I see."said the Tsar''At least i get to show them what a true superpower does''

"After this battle is over, I believe we need to train the IRAF's pilots for blind attacks."said Zhukov "After the ground bases are all eliminated,the Pe-8 bombing squadrons will quickly return home and wait to see if plan B,you favorite will be made,if after this they won't give in they they will return for round 2 and hit the civilian population of Duro and Esthirant."

"Ohhh i like plan B."said the Tsar in a monotone voice

"Finally,another flotilla will be dispatched to deal with the ships-of-the-line at Duro's port."said Nikolai Kuznetsov

''also if we deem it needed we will bombard their naval facilities with our ships in Duro''said Ivan Isakov

"I understand."said the tsar

"That is the outline for the first stage. The second stage depends on the resulting diplomatic situation, so it will be executed should after plan B they still resist."Said Zhukov

Papaldia Empire, imperial capital Esthirant

By the emperor's order, the Papaldia Empire was aiming to recapture the Kingdom of Altarus and once again turn it into imperial territory.At Esthirant's port,people ran about in a hurry to finish the necessary preparations.South of the capital,at the largest port in the Third Civilization, hundreds of ships-of-the-line were anchored there and having supplies loaded onto them.
