Chapter 40

Hi guys long time from my last update but I came with a gift. :) The picture that I posted with this chapter is my own illustration of what I really imagined Leo and Antheia looking like. Sorry if you are not a fan but I have been wanting to draw them and add it to my story for a long time. I know I also sound like a broken record but I'm soooo sorry for not updating in over a year, I know how frustrating it is when you truly love a story and they never update. Chapter 40

Kat's POV

I watch as my brother was thrown into hand cuffs and so was the other human that he was fighting with. They were dragged out of the lunchroom with not much energy left in either of them to struggle. Searching the crowd, I tried to find Antheia to make sure she was ok after all the shit that dickhead was just spouting about her. With no luck I follow my brother being dragged to the head office of the school. Sitting out front of the building for about 15 minutes a car screeches to a halt. Adrian jumps out running up the steps I guess to help smooth things over. I move to the large garden area waiting while Leo and Adrian was being spoken to about the fight. I was growing bored when my ears pick up a small rustle sound in the bushes behind me.

"This is going to be fun."

Adam POV

Rushing to do jobs for one of my teachers because I wanted to catch up with Antheia and talk about the kiss we shared. But with Anderson and the movies we haven't really had a chance.

("Will she even want to talk? I did kiss her without her saying yes....But she did close her eyes that means yes right? it just felt right I guess?") in my train of thought I almost walked right past my destination. The office was hectic with the office ladies struggling to answer the phones that were non-stop ringing. Papers were being thrown from one end to the other, to top all that off the principle was losing his shit at whoever was sitting in his personal office.

"Hi how can I help you?" the office lady said exhaustedly.

"I'm just dropping off some stuff that my teacher wanted done."

"Ok no worries just put it there and before you go would you mind...(Phone rings)...Hello this is Doris Wilson how can I help you today?" Finishing up my task I basically run out the door avoiding getting pulled into another set of jobs.

"That was close." I say to myself. I walk around the corner and hide behind some bushes. I pull out my phone about to call Antheia and see if we could catch up today when I hear something moving behind me. I turn and lean in to get a better look at the noise when two bright blue/teal eyes stare back at me. Startling me I fall backwards landing flat on my back, sitting up quickly I see the Anderson sister crawling out of the bushes. She's crouching/sitting on the garden bed staring at me.

"uhhhhh what are you doing in the bushes?"

"Hunting." She shrugs her shoulders.

("Hunting? what does she mean by that?")

"Hunting what?" I ask a little scared of what the answer would be.

She grins evilly. "Anything and everything..... so why are you hiding around this area for?"

"I wasn't really............ok you caught me, I was trying to get away from the teachers and office ladies. I always seem to get sucked into doing jobs for them so sometimes I hide." I chuckle scratching the back of my head. She smiles at me lightly and tilts her head to the side resting her chin in her hand.
