Antheia POV

My alarm clock starts going off the noise echoed through my room making my sleepless night even more realistic. I slammed my hand down so it would stop from making my head throb and my eyes sting from the repetitive noise. I lay still in my bed not wanting to get up and face the reality of today.

"Should I go to school today or should I run away to a different country? why did this happen to me I thought I was suffering enough but now I'm going to be lucky to make it to the end of the year."

I throw my blanket off of my body and walk to the bathroom, turning the shower on I start my normal morning routine. Today I picked a simple hoodie and jean combination so hopefully I can just pull my hood over my head and become invisible. I close the door on my apartment and start the fearful walk to school I wasn't sure on what was going to happen but I had a bad feeling. I made it to school and i am now at my locker when I started pulling out the books I needed for today I felt a hand slam down on top of my shoulder. Freaking out I spin and slap the hand away from me, when I see the shocked eyes of Mary my heart sank and guilt spread throw out my chest.

"Oh shit sorry boo I didn't mean to scare you to the point of dying are you ok.?"

"Yeah no sorry love I'm just feeling a little out of it. I stayed up late last night watching some horror movie."

" Why doesn't that surprise me."

"Hehe sorry, but anyway how is your dad and mum you seemed in a really big rush yesterday I hope everything was ok."

"Yeah dad was fine just needed a hand with some stuff the younger boys at work are to pussy to do."

"Well that's good I was worried something was wrong."

"Nah everything is all good, do you want to come for a walk I'm hanging for a smoke."

"Ok we will go out the back of the school so you don't get caught again and almost get suspended, if that happens I will die with out you being here I would have no one to talk to."

"Don't worry that won't happen I promise."

We walked out to a small area that we knew would be a good spot, most of the teachers don't really know that this area exist and most of the students aswell. Mary and I talked until the first bell went meaning homeroom was just about to start so we slowly made our way to the first class of the day. I walk up to our normal seat at the back of classroom and when the second bell went I waited for Leo to walk through the door. I waited and waited for his smug face to walk through the door but he was a no show, I am relieved but also pissed off he threatened me about not coming but he ends up skipping anyway.

"Hey Antheia are you ok?, you look really pissed off like you are ready to hit someone."

"I'm fine just wished I had gotten more sleep last night."

("instead of stressing all last night wondering how today was going to go and how much of a funeral I had to plan but now it doesn't seem I have to.")

"Well maybe you shouldn't sit up all night watching movies hey." Mary says as she elbows me in the side.

"Hahaha yes I know I'm sorry."

Mary just smiled at me while we listened to the teacher speak about what was happening for the rest of the week. When homeroom was just about to end an alarm started going off throughout the school.

"Ok everyone this is fire drill please start moving to the school oval so we can continue on with our day."

The hallways were flooded with students from all different classes making their way out to the oval just as we are instructed. Mary and I are walking together when she realised that she was missing her smoke's and had to race back to get them.

"Oh shit they must be back in the homeroom, you go on ahead and I will meet up with you at the oval ok? "

"Ok sounds good."

We started walking our separate ways, I made it to the end of the school when I see from the corner of my eyes someone running/jogging at me. Turning my attention to that area but see no one, I stopped to look around which had me falling behind everyone. I was about to pick up the pace when a strong hand grabbed around my mouth and another around my wrist twisting my arm and pushing me into the closest classroom.

The door swung open and I was forced into the room with a not so light push. Stumbling forward I turn just in time to see none other than you guessed it Leo Anderson himself.

"Well I'm glad to see you made it to school my little piglet."

He said as he visibly locked the door behind him without breaking eye contact with me at all, that is when I knew I was in trouble.
