Hands off

Chapter 5

(Antheia gym clothes)

The first trust exercise was the falling backwards one where they have to catch you when you fall. Sarah just turned around and started free falling expecting me to catch her when I wasn't ready. I ran up to try and catch her but my body wasn't able to move fast enough.

Thud !

Sarah had fallen straight to the floor without anything to slow her down. The sound echo through the whole gym it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Laughter then exploded from the entire class as Sarah just layed on the ground with red cheeks and a sour look on her face. Sitting up her almost red eyes landed on me and I know she was out for revenge and it was not going to be pretty.

("Oh shit oh shit she is going to attack me and it's going to turn into a full on cat fight, I have never been in a fight before what am I meant to do what are the rules. Maybe I should apologize to her first and see what happens after that.")

" Sarah I am so sor..."

Before I could finish she had already got up and charged right at me ready for the kill. Arms stretched out she has used all of her momentum and pushed me, losing balance instantly and what felt like slow motion I started falling. Turning my body on instinct so I can put my hands out to break my fall I find someone standing right behind me. I reached for the shirt praying that would stop me from falling, unfortunately that wasn't the case because of my weight I ended up bringing them down with me. Still spinning/turning now with my eyes squeezed shut waiting for my back to slam into the ground.

Thud!!!!!

This thud was ten times louder than Sarah's from before. I was now freaking out about all the new jokes that everyone would make. I am now trapped underneath the body I dragged down with me, I slowly open my eyes to see none other than Leo staring down at me. Without thinking I start to try and get up and out from under him, moving as fast as I can to get away from the person who haunts my nightmares. I feel my face clash with his from the struggle, my lips have landed on his and I can feel his body physically stiffen from the contact of our lips. Our eyes met for a split second he looked shocked more then I did and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, the moment seemed to last forever with our lips connected until I snapped out of it and realised what was actually happening.

Using all my strength I pushed his body off mine and stood up instantly, not waiting for the nicknames and other bullshit to start I ran out of the gym not looking back.

("What the fuck just happened, what the hell am I meant to do now they are going to start calling me a slut and saying I made a move on Leo. Why why did he have to be the one, the one that took my first kiss!!.")

I ran and I didn't stop until I was out of the school grounds and half way to the park that was near by. I had to stop to catch my breath and regain my thoughts for a moment it was then I realised Mary had ran after me this entire time.

"Antheia are you ok." She basically screams at me

I just stare dead into her eyes and the hard reality hit me in the face and it didn't feel so wonderful. I could feel my composure starting to fall apart and the tears started to blur my vision.

"I don't think I am Mary I'm not sure how I can make a positive out of this one."

Mary's arms wrapped around me and I knew then that I was safe for the time being. She then started to rub cycles around my back to help calm me down.

"What happened love."

"Sarah pushed me and I tried to save myself from falling by grabbing the closest person. When I tried to get away from him I headbutted him and our lips touched."

I started to blubber as she tried to clam me down again from my ugly crying.

"Well if your lips just touched a little that's ok its not like your tongue went into his mouth haha."

"Don't be gross mary." I squeeze her closer to me.

"Hahaha ok I'm sorry."

"Hmmmm"

" Ok I will take you home love just wait here while I get your stuff and my car and I will be back before you know it."

"Ok I will wait here."

I watched as she ran down the street and back into the school gate.

"Why am I always so unlucky it could have been anyone absolutely anyone but no it had to be him. I'm so over this year and it's only the second day of school what is the rest of the year going to be like."

Mary than pulled up Infront of me waving her hand telling me to get in. Today was exhausting I'm going home for a shower, bed and I'm skipping school tomorrow, I think I need a break away from it all for a day.
