-JAYLA'S POV-

I invited yn round out house, I have an important question to ask her, we have been getting closer recently and I want to know if she has the same feeling I do.

I hopped out of my bed and walked over to my vanity, I wanted to look good for her, I wanted to look my best self for her.

I put on some light make-up, not so much that's its obvious, but enough to cover my acne(I don't think she has acne in rl so just go with it for the story)

I heard a knock at the door, I threw myself out my room and down the stairs, so that I could get there before anyone else, "hey" I said, she looked up at me and we met eyes, "hi" she said, "Come in" I said standing to one side, "thanks".

I lead her to my room, and she sat on my bed, "i have something to ask you" I said, my voice shaky, "shoot" she said, "we have been hanging out more recently, and I just need to know if we share the same feelings"

She looked at me, "what are you hinting at" she said, "Are you gay" I asked quickly, "Uhh.." she said, she had gone bright red, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" I said, "I just need to know, I really like you but I need to know if you like me back" I said.

"I don't know, I will admit there is something there, I do share your feelings, but my parents won't be to happy if they find out I'm gay" she said, ny heart dropped, she did feel the same way, but she felt like she couldn't feel the same way.

"I had the gay talk when him was young, my mum isn't going be happy if she finds out she isn't having grandkids, she's a homophobic bitch" she said, I felt bad for her, she was trying to change her feelings to make her mom happy.

"What if we kept it a secret" i asked, "your mum already knows we're friends, so she wouldn't know if we were were than that" I said, "it's risky" she said, I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces.

"But I think we can make it work" before I had a chance to respond she gently placed her lips on mine.
