Present..

''Nayeon!'' Evelyn's voice cracked, holding her daughter in her arms. ''Please wake up, dear.'' Tears whirled through her head. The bright red forthy blood was pulsating from her stomach. If the blood flow doesn't stop, her daughter will eventually lose herself. Evelyn tore her dress and draped it around Nayeon's waist as a protective defense to prevent more blood from coming out. Fredrick's tears spilled over and flowed down his face when he looked at his daughter's face turning pale.

''We need to take her to the hospital as soon as possible.'' Then, as Evelyn said, Fredrick gently lifted Nayeon and ordered the armed men. ''I want those bastards alive.'' He said before storming out of the place carrying his daughter. Torture was the only emotion maddening in his mind.

''Yes, sir!'' The armed men sternly nodded, and once they were out of sight, their quest to the hunt began.

Fredrick brought Nayeon to the nearest hospital in the chopper. Evelyn and Fredrick waited outside the emergency room as the doctors were examining Nayeon's wound.

''She is bleeding in her knees also, Rick. They must have struck her hard!'' Evelyn's hand quivered as she held her husband's hand. ''I am scared.'' A month back, the family grieved in pain for Devin, and before a bit of happiness embarked on their faces, they are in the hospital again, grieving for their princess.

''Nothing will happen to our daughter, Eve. She will be fine.'' Fredrick tightly clenched his fists. An iron rod! He will remember everything.

The emergency theatre opened, and a nurse stepped out of the room. ''Are you the patient's parents?''

''Yes,'' Evelyn answered.

''We need to transfuse blood to her as soon as possible. Either one or both of you must be O negative. Can you go to the lab department and check for the procedures.'' The nurse said.

Evelyn and Fredrick stiffened at once. Nayeon's blood type is O negative, the rarest blood type. Therefore, either both father and mother or one of the parents must be O negative for children to acquire. But Evelyn and Fredrick neither of them has such.

''D-on't you have it in the hospital?'' Evelyn asked hopefully. She knows O negative is the rarest blood, and it is always in demand by hospitals and blood centers. But she still hoped for it.

''We are running out. It's hard to find O negative donors, madam, and our team is reaching out to hospitals. Our hospital doesn't have O negative blood readily available right at the moment. What's the problem with you or your husband giving blood to your daughter?'' The nurse questioned, rather intrigued.

''Nothing. I-I will be back in a minute,'' Evelyn said and dragged Fredrick with her to talk with him. Both made calls to the hospitals and friends they knew, but O Negative blood bags were not in the stock.

''What do we do now?'' Evelyn asked in a whisper. ''Can we search for any O negative donor? We will pay them a huge sum of Money.''

''Money is not the matter, Eve. It takes time. Besides, it's late in the night. So who is going to respond to us at this rate?'' Fredrick voiced his thoughts. ''Instead of going rounds in the circle, let's make a better choice. Call him.''

''No, Rick. He will know about Nayeon-''

Fredrick placed a finger on her lips to hush her. ''No more word. Call him. We have to save our daughter.''

Evelyn reluctantly nodded her head with no other choice.

''I am sorry, Nellie, for breaking the promise. But, unfortunately, I don't have a choice except to call him. I have to save your daughter,'' Evelyn muttered under her breath and dialed a man's number whom she is desperately trying to keep Nayeon away from him. His presence alone would infuriate her, but today, she doesn't have a choice except to hear his voice. The call ringed and eventually went into voice mail. Frustratingly, Evelyn called his number again, but she received the same response. ''Why is this bastard not picking up when I needed his presence today?'' Evelyn cursed the man. He must be drinking in one of the bars at this time.
