After ending the monitoring session of a new employee's class, Jennie strode into her room. Not before she relaxed for a couple of minutes, Rosé barged inside without knocking on the door. ''Jennie!''
Rosé's voice was so loud that Jennie woke up with a start. ''Rosé, I told you not to disturb when I am resting,''
''Lisa is here. He has come inside the office directly.'' Rosé raced towards her friend. ''Also, he is talking with Mandy...it's more like browbeating her. Mandy is shitting bricks over there.''
''Mandy?'' Jennie rose from the chair in surprise. Often Lisa would drop her at the office gate but never step into her office, reasoning that her office has full of girls.
''Why did he come?'' Jennie questioned herself. She fought with him over a dress in the morning. Did he come here to console her? Without wasting a second, Jennie dashed out, followed by Rosé. Few steps away, she found Lisa standing in front of Mandy's desk. Meanwhile, Mandy stood there, gazing onto the floor desolately.
''I have proof that it's you.'' Jennie heard Lisa's cold tone directed at Mandy.
''Ca-n you..give me a chance.'' Mandy slowly lifted her head. She swallowed hard as she gazed into Lisa's intense eyes. ''I will stop bitching. I promise.''
''You told the same thing when we last met.''
Mandy pursed her lips. Did I tell him that? Why does this devil target me all the time? When it comes to that witch's matters, her tongue loses control.
Meanwhile, Jennie quickly scanned the room. The employee's gaze heartened at Lisa like he was a rare candy brought from the store. That was enough to instigate her jealousy.
''There is no drama play going on here. Get back to work.'' In a matter of seconds, the employees ran to their desks.
Lisa snapped to his left, hearing the shrill voice of his Sweetheart. He gazed at Jennie with longing, like he had seen her after a long time. Not as Lisa this time, but as her mysterious friend, as the stranger who saved her.
''What are you doing at my office?'' She smiled mischievously in a way that her smile pierced his heart.
''Am I not allowed here?'' Countered Lisa, a glint of a smile in his eyes.
He crossed the distance between them and pulled Jennie close to him possessively. The employees around them gasped silently, watching their PDA.
''Why are you targeting Mandy?'' Holding his hand, Jennie led him into her office room before he attempts to do something naughty in front of her employees. ''You are harassing my employee-''
The second the door was closed shut, Jennie's back was pushed against the door, causing her to stop in the mid-sentence. Closing the small space between them, he leaned forward, crashing his lips against hers. His light kisses turned into more erotic in a way Jennie had no choice but to open her mouth and inhale his sweet breath.
''Jennie.'' He breathed in. ''I missed you.'' He told her in between frenzied kisses down her neck. ''I missed you every day, every second. It hurts like hell being away from you.''
Confusion flooded Jennie's brain, drowning her in doubts. He was talking as if he had not seen her for months and years.
She hadn't seriously fought with him fought for months. The morning fight was just a silly one to fool with him. What has gotten into him to speak so emotionally? She doesn't want to hurt him by asking the reason. In the end, she said. ''I missed you too.'' And hugged him.
Silly girl, Lisa spoke under his breath, his arms tightening around her in a secure hug. If only she knew what he meant by 'I missed you.' ''Can I ask you a question, Sweetheart? Will you answer it genuinely?''
