How we Hive!

This shop has a very different approach towards reviewing books. This is to ensure your works are adequately reviewed.

Just before we set the rules, this is a little summary of how we run this shop.

The Review shop formerly existed as Opal Reviews on this account, but as we expanded and developed, we changed names.

The Shop has competent and trusted reviewers, so expect the best and we'd deliver.

✂----Firstly, we have several cliques of reviewers that are ready to review your book, and each clique has a maximum of five reviewers each. For now, there's only one clique, as we progress, the others will be introduced.

▶ You go have to through the rules, and obey them. Next, you pick a reviewer that has the graphical sign that says "On Seat". Always pay attention to signs on their profiles.

▶Busy Bee - means they are available, but have reached their acceptance limit. If you insist on a particular reviewer, you'll have to wait till their sign changes to free. Also, you'll have to inform us if you want a certain reviewer to review your book, this will helps us fix you in the moment they are free.

▶ Hiatus means they're unavailable!

▶ On Seat means they are available, and accepting reviews.

✂ ---Note that our reviewers have the right to decline review requests if they so wish, but, we would never leave you hanging.

✂---We operate in a batch system kind of review theme. Each batch is announced with a time, and deadline. Once the deadline's reached, we shut down entries for that particular batch, and fix incoming requests in the next one.

🐝 Each batch has a total of 25 slots, and each reviewer has five slots. Once all the slots are filled, the batch will be closed, the deadline  notwithstanding.

This is to reduce rowdiness, and ensure our reviewers take time to review your book while they face other important aspects of their lives.

✂---- Reviews are posted in batches. So know your batch, and follow up for your book review results.

✂---Furthermore, if you're not comfortable with a review, contact us immediately. We'd look into your reports and rectify whatever needs change. Do not attract unnecessary attention as that would be frowned at. Our DMS are always open.

✂---Also, Do not request for a review twice on the same book with two months. Once your review is done, and your corrections made, and you want the first reviewer or another to track the development, fill the Second review form and await approval.

✂---Note that a Second review might take more time than the regular review as we might want to handle new clients first. Howbeit, we have to go through certain processes to ensure your book is revamped and appealing.

✂---You're to make at least part payment to the reviewer, before your work is reviewed. This is to ensure everyone keeps their side of the bargain.

✂---The moment your request is collected, and your book previewed, you'd get a pm from us stating your review details.

✂----Next, just after a review, we'd post your full review on a fresh page on this book. You'll be tagged.

Lastly, each reviewer is handed a personal page for their review info. That's basically all you need to know about them as reviewers. Make your pick, and tag them in your form so they get it directly.

It is important you follow our rules as we take nothing but really little in return for a good service.
