Ariana POV

"Dude what happened though?" Liz asked. 

It happened so fast, I'm not completely sure if it was really legit. I didn't taste any alcohol from his lips. He could be high. I don't know. I'm hoping it was real though. 

"That was Y/N. He wants to give us another shot," I said. 

"What an idiot," I heard Court mutter under her breath. 

"You wanna say something about this? Speak up." I directed at Courtney. 

"No, nothing. I'm just an observer," she said. ________________________________________________________________________________

Third Person POV 

Y/N made his way over to Ariana's around 9am. He wanted to clear up the confusion she might be feeling about his sudden appearance last night. Springing this up on her so out of the blue was worrying him. He had rejected her advances previously, so his mind changing must have been awful, and might have given the assumption that he was going to play with her feelings. 

He made his way to the gate, notified her of his presence. Then he walked right in as she had opened the door to her home. "Hello," he said with an upbeat happy attitude. "I feel you must be totally shocked and confused about last night. I said that we were going to talk about this and well, here I am now to chat. Hope this is ok." 

"Yeah, it's great actually. Look, I'm really happy that you want to give this another shot," Ariana said. She did have her doubts. What if he had underlying trust issues because of past events? What if it wasn't going to feel like a fully committed relationship? She was very hopeful. This will work this time, the singer thought. But should there need to be a 'This will work this time'? Most go with the idea of do not go back to the ex. 

They both went to her living room and sat down on the couch. He was feeling nervous suddenly because it was a more serious conversation. "First I'd like to say, things are in the past. Things happened, things were regretted, and not everything was great. It can't be forgotten, but it can be forgiven and left I guess." 

"Ok," Ariana said. This brought her back to thinking about the negative past relationship between them. Communication was ever so shitty. They had a conversation about communication in the past... the thought of trying again seemed worrisome. What if she messed up or he messed up... or... or.... 

Y/N noticed her slightly worried look and so he gently held her hands and got her to look at him. "I still really want you in my life. Not just as a friend. So, I felt like I might regret my chance to be with you, if I don't take it now. I want to ask for real right now... Ariana will you be my girlfriend?" he said to her. His head ran by a thought of thinking girlfriend sounds very high school like... but anyway.

She nodded her head and began to smile brightly. "Yes, I really want this. I will." 

"How do we exactly try this again though? I kinda only planned as far as this," he said. 

"Well, we could continue with this..." she leaned in and kissed him. The kiss was filled with passion and made him super shook but in a good way. 

When she pulled away, it left him a bit dazed. "Y-y-yeah that, that works," he said. ________________________________________________________________________________
