"Jay!" Bolin shouted, bursting into my room.

"Bolin!"

"We need you." He dragged me out of the room quickly.

"Why?" I asked, letting her drag me wherever.

"Kai is missing."

"He's not missing." Mako argued.

"We have to go look for him." Bolin urged me.

"Okay. I'll go."

"Told you she would go." Bolin sneered at Mako as he walked out, screaming Kai's.

"Why do you aid him?" Mako asked.

"This is more than aiding him, you know?" I walked out with him, following Bolin. "He's an airbender. I'm an airbending master. It would be wrong if I didn't at least look for him. He's also a kid. Don't act like you and Bolin were such saints."

Mako rolled his eyes, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "I don't trust the kid."

"Maybe he just needs a good role model. People like you and Bolin. You guys get him."

"We were nothing like him."

"You two still had someone. Kai has no one except us now. Just give him a shot." I ran to catch up with Bolin. We walked the streets, searching for him at every corner of this money infested Ring of Ba Sing Se.

"Kai, did you go fishing? You under the bridge?" Bolin said, looking into a pond area. I heard a whoosh of air in the direction Mako was staring. A man's robe had been blown up, covering his face. A boy, presumably Kai, picked up his hat and handed it to him.

"Here, sir, let me help you." Kai said, dusting off the man's clothes.

"Oh, thank you, young man. What a strange sudden breeze."

"Yeah, that was really weird."

"Thanks for your help." The man walked away as Kai slipped bills into his pouch that was on his back. Mako looked over at me with a smug look.

"Shut up." I told him before he even spoke. "Kai!" I shouted. Kai turned around and gave us a grin before running off.

"Get back here!" Mako immediately chased after him.

"Kai, it's us. Mako and Bolin, your new family. Jay's here, too!" Bolin followed his brother. I followed as well, not really wanting to use my airbending around these smug Upper Ring people. Besides, Kai is smart. In all honesty, if I airbended towards him, he'd just airbend further away.

We chase him around carriages and through alleyways. Mako and I would maneuver around the roadblocks that Kai created quickly while Bolin kept his manners. We chased Kai to the monorail station, seeing him jump onto a still monorail with open doors. Mako and I ran in through different doors, trying to trap him in. He ran into me like I was a wall. He raised his hands and gave me a nervous smile.

"Kai, what are you doing?" I asked him.

"He's running around and robbing people." Mako stated, walking closer to us.

"I was just practicing my airbending." He tried to appeal to me.

"No, you were robbing people." I argued. "Bolin pulled me out just to come look for you. Do you understand how worried he is?" I pointed down the monorail to the worried Bolin, who was also the out of breath Bolin. "You are mine and my father's responsibility and you just left."

"Am I in trouble?" He asked.

"Big trouble. Come on." Mako grabbed him by the collar of his clothes. Kai slides out of his top only to leave it in Mako's hand and airbends the two brothers to the other side of the train. I tried to grab him, but he airbended me as well before I could do the same. Everyone sitting in the monorail looked stunned. Kai ran out of the monorail, leaving the three of us inside. We run to get off but the door closes, leaving us trapped inside going wherever without any way to contact anyone or with any money.
