Chapter 5

Eleven turns to look at me with a sad expression. I frown and walk towards her. I kneel down next to her and gently pulls her into a hug. She leans her body against me as I try to comfort her. She starts crying.

-Learning The Truth-

Y/N P.O.V

Becky allows us to stay in their house. She gave us a room, that we'll share together. We enter the room she showed us and place our backs on the bed. I turn to look at Eleven as she sits down on the bed. I take a seat next to her.

"Are you feeling okay? You know... after seeing your mom?" I said. She turns to look at me. "I feel sad..." she said. "Understandable... at least your mother is still alive. I have no parents" I said. "Your mom?" She said. "She's adoptive. She's loving and kind. But I'm talking about biological parents" I said. She lets out a hum and my response.

"Do you think you can help her? My mom" she said. I turn to look at her. "You mean try to heal her?" I said. She nods her head. "We can always try" I said. She smiles and eagerly grabs my hand. She pulls me with her, as she rush towards the room where Terry is.

"What's going on?" Becky said. "Y/N will try to get inside mama's mind. See if she'll able to heal her..." Eleven said. She turns to look at me. "Can you?" She said. "I will try... no promise..." I said. She nods her head. I walk up to Terry and gently place my hand on her forehead. I close my eyes and focus on getting inside her mind.

Vision

I can see her point of view. She's walking down a hallway. I recognize the place as Hawkins Lab. It was where they kept me and Eleven. She opens the door, to reveal 3 girls.

I try to focus to see what had damaged her mind. I can see her getting strapped into a bed. I can see a group of people surrounding her. They electrocute her head. That's what damaged her mind.

I blink my eyes. When I open it, I'm in the room she is currently in. "Terry..." I said. She turns her head to look at me. "Aryanna..." She said. I stare at her in confusion. Did she just called me Aryanna??

End of Vision

I open my eyes. I turn my head to see Eleven stares at me expectantly. "How is it?" She said. "Sorry... I can't heal her..." I said. She looks down in sadness. I turn my head to look at Terry. Her eyes remained blank as she continues to say the same words she's been saying since the day we got here.

Aryanna... her voice echoed in my head. I furrow my eyebrow in confusion. Why did she looks at me and calls me Aryanna. Why did she called me with that name?

"What's wrong, Y/N?" Eleven asked. I turn to look at her. "Your mother called me Aryanna..." I said. She furrows her eyebrow. "Aryanna? It could be your birth name. Given by your real mother" she said. I just nod my head at what she said. "Yeah. Maybe..." I said.

Becky start to search for a document. She hands one to me. I sit down next to Eleven as I start to through each pages. I scan every words as I read through it.

I stop flipping when I found something. "Aryanna Rowe... daughter of Agnes Rowe..." I said. I run my hand across the picture of a woman. She looks a lot like me. Could she be my mother? So my real name is Aryanna.

Eleven scoots closer to me. She reads the content of my page. "That's your mom..." she said. I turn to her and shrugs my shoulder. "Guess so..." I said. I turn my head to the document to.

Aryanna Rowe... a mysterious baby. There's no real background about the little baby. One said she just appears out of no where in the middle of the woods, next to a dying woman who claimed her name was Agnes Rowe. She said the baby's name is Aryanna Rowe, before she took her last breath.

When Aryanna was brought to the hospital. They instantly notice something off about the girl. Her body was ice cold, like she had stayed a whole day in the South Pole.

It took a while for the little baby to adjust to the warm temperature of Hawkins. The doctor thought that she wouldn't make it. It was a miracle that the little baby survived.

"So, I was suppose to be dead... but I survived. They found me in the forest. Next to my dying mother... my real mother" I said, turning to look at Eleven with teary eyes.

Eleven scoots closer to me, knowing the information I had just discovered is too much for me to handle. I wrap my arms around her in return. She rubs my back as tears start to streams down my cheeks.

They found me in the forest. So I was not born in the lab like Eleven did. I was not a part of an experiment like she was. So... where did I get all of my powers. How did I get here? Who am I? What am I?

Time-skip

Becky have prepared us some meal for dinner. I sit next to Eleven as I just play around with my food. I can't stop thinking about the fact that I'm not who I thought I am. All these time... I thought I have the same faith as Eleven. Who was born because of an experiment. No... I came from somewhere else. But where?

"Y/N, honey... stop playing with your food" Becky said. "Sorry..." I said, turning to look at her. I let out a sigh and start to eat the food. I chew slowly while I think about what I had just learned. I have to find an answer... or this curiosity will continue to gnaw on me.

After dinner, I grab the plate and walk towards the sink. "Thank you for the food..." I said, smiling softly at Becky. I turn around and walk towards the room. I lay down on one of the bed. I place my hands behind my head.

The door opens again and Eleven walks in. "Are you still thinking about the document?" She said. I nod my head. "Yeah... I wanna know where I came from. All these times I thought I was born because of the experiments my biological mother used to endure. But the truth is... they found me in the middle of the forest. Which means, I came from somewhere else. But where? How did I ended up in Hawkins Lab?" I said.

Eleven take a seat at the edge of the bed, right next to my thigh. She place her hand on my thigh and smiles at me. "I'm sure someday we'll find an answer... just don't think too much about it, okay? It's not good for you" she said. I just give her a small smile. She smile softly at me.

She gets up and walk towards her bed. She lay down and turn to lay on her side. "Gnight, Y/N..." she said. "Gnight, El" I said. She closes her eyes and drift off to sleep. I let out a sigh and close my eyes, letting myself fall into a deep slumber.
