"Chest compressions, a milligram of epi, clear". The said while feeling for my mother's pulse. "No pulse charge again 200, clear." I could feel Arny holding me back from running into the room, tears were falling down my cheeks and I was trying to get out of Arny's grip but his grip was just too strong. "Mom, mom, mom please wake up! Please don't leave me! Mom wake up!" "Another milligram of epi, resume chest compressions, charge to 300, clear." "She's back she's in sinus rhythm." Hearing those words I just was so thankful I wrap my arms around Arny and I embrace him so tight. Dr. Watson walks over and takes my hand. "She's stable for now I'll be back to check on her, you two are welcome to stay in here with her. The doctor and his team leave the room. "Arny... I can't lose her I can't." My tears continued to flow and Arny gave me a kiss on the forehead and was rubbing my back and I just felt such comfort from him. "I love you baby I'm here for you and I am not going anywhere." "I love you so much." Arny and I kissed and then we walked into the room to sit. There was only one chair so I sat on Arny's lap. "Are comfortable my love?" "Of course babe." I let my legs hang over Arny's lap and I laid my head in the crook of his neck and we both sat there and stayed with my mom.  Arny started rubbing my head and running his fingers through my hair. "Babe you are going to make me fall asleep, I need to stay awake, and you are not helping." I say with a low chuckle. "Love just close your eyes, I know you are exhausted you've been through a lot in the last couple hours." Arny continued to relax me and I feel my eyes starting to get heavier and heavier. I don't know if I was exhausted from my emotions and just feeling overall drained or just Arny relaxing me and feeling so comfortable in his embrace but before I knew it I was fast asleep in Arny's arms.

"Love, love?" Arny said while lightly shaking me awake. "Love the Dr. is here, babe wake up." I feel my eyes start to open and I sit up. "Sorry to wake you Y/N but I have news about your mother." "No no it's okay what news Dr.?" "Y/N your mother is starting to take a turn for the better she is slowly starting to respond to the medication and I have high hopes right now that she will hopefully wake soon." I had a smile and I was so happy! I jumped off Arny's lap and hugged Dr. Watson "Thank you, Dr. Watson! Thank you so much!" I hear him let out a chuckle and placed his hand on my shoulder "I'll check in later my dear." Dr. Watson said as he left the room. I look over to Arny and he looks exhausted and he needs sleep. I knew he wouldn't admit it but he did. "Babe why don't you go home and get some rest, I'm not going anywhere and I'll call you if I need you." Arny walked over to me and placed his right hand on my cheek. His touch was soft yet firm and he looked into my eyes and I see a small smile form on his face. "Love I can't leave you, I'll be fine don't worry about me." "Please babe for me go home and get some sleep." Arny have me a look of annoyance but then pulled me into him and held me so tight and then he cupped my face and pulled me into his lips and gave me a passionate deep kiss. "Alright love, call me if you need anything and keep me updated I love you." "I love you too Arny." Arny gave me another kiss and then left the room. I walk over to my mother's bed and I embrace her hand. "I'm here mom and I love you so much, the Dr. says you are gonna be okay, please be okay mom." I sit there and I just hold her hand and I don't let go. "I love you, mom." I jump at the sound of a knock at the door and I turn and I see Danny. He was standing in the door frame and had roses and a stuffed teddy bear. He walked in and I felt tears forming and I ran into his arms.
