The fights between Pan and Hook were never as chaotic as they are now. They both wanted blood but Pan had other plans. He wanted pain and heartbreak with James feeling worse than he's ever felt before.

"You started something that you won't be able to win Hook. I'm going to make sure you get something far worse than death."

And just like how there's magic, there are also curses to keep balance in the world. It was rarely used because not many were willing to sacrifice something they loved most for the sake of revenge. But Pan didn't care when everything he ever truly cared about had passed. What else could he possibly lose?

He searched on Skull Island for clues in the curse for any loopholes. Maybe it was nothing but he felt something touch his shoulder. A small glow of Wendy when she first came here. So small but very beautiful in his eyes.

"You could just let him go, he's caused more problems than anything since he's arrived."

"No, he had his chance but now he needs to suffer."

"And you're willing to give everything you've built for revenge?"

"Anything the island has given me, I'll sacrifice it for this."

She nodded her head as she cupped her hands whispering to the sky. Her hands glowed while a small vial appeared.

"Take back your heart and drink this vial. You'll have a day to do what you wish."

Pan just nodded taking the vial. The ghost smiled sadly knowing what would happen. She then silently whispered,

"You weren't always the villain Peter."

Pan walked around with the vial in serious thought. To lose something he had all this time for the sake of revenge. At that moment, he decided to drink the liquid. Sweet on his tongue but felt no different. The land was still running fine and he was still young in appearance. What changed?

Across the island, the trees were dying and the clear water drying up.

James noticed the shadow of his father was writhing in pain glitching in the air. It finally disappeared while the wind started to pick up and whipped the trees and everything around violently.

     "What's going on Tinkerbell?"

She also was flickering with her size ever-changing.

     "I-I don't k-know."

She shrunk in size and just fell from the air.

     "Tink!"

     "James, I...I can't....move."

He could tell she was weak and in one moment everything around them was dying.

   "I'll be back Tink."

She reached out trying to stop Hook seeing him grab his weapons. He had one goal stepping off his boat and Pan would be waiting.

James walked around watching the creatures around too weak to move as if the air was thinning. A place full of life just shrinking from existence in front of him. Everything was different except out on Skull Island. That's where he was guessing Pan was hiding.

He rowed out and saw the boy just standing there waiting with a grin on his face.

"Come to meet your fate, Captain?"

    "What did you do Pan?"

He just shrugged.

"Nothing I can't fix once you meet your demise."
