My first morning in the Apollo cabin. I'm not going to lie to you, I like it here. Sure I miss the Poseidon cabin and Percy but something told me deep down that I didn't belong in that cabin. But now I feel more grounded, more at ease and at home. Meeting my siblings was strange though. We were with 7 of us, including me. Will Solace is our head counselor, and I like him. I had already met Austin but I also met Kayla, Jerry, Yan and Gracie. All of the kids are like polar opposites, sure we had some hobbies in common, but still we were all so different from each other. Will was incredibly skilled in anything medicine related, Austin was extremely talented in music and Kayla was skilled in archery. Apollo of course being the god of many things means his kids will also have a range of different specialties. Mine being the sun, even though I have no idea how to control that power. Will had given me a tour last night and explained to me what it means to be an Apollo kid. Apparently we're all scared of snakes, which makes sense, I've always hated them. When you're good in one Apollo thing, you'll be less good in another. Explains why I can't play any instrument if my life depended on it. Will wanted me to try archery classes, medical training and maybe even join something artistic, like a play. I obviously told him no on the last bit. But today I was planning on trying archery classes and medical training with Will.

I was the first one awake and decided to use the bathroom and get into fresh clothes. I still had some marks left from the chimera face off but I was fine. It was already 2 nights ago that the incident happened. Still no one came forward or had a clue about what exactly happened. Chiron wanted to speak to me about my dreams and something else but first he had to find our oracle; Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She is a mortal who happens to possess the spirit of Delphi. Percy told me a bit about her and his past with her, she seemed really cool. But no one had heard from her since the Annabeth Chase incident, she had gone off the radar Chiron said.

When I had gotten out of the shower most of my half siblings were awake already. "Goodmorning!" Kayla said happily. "Goodmorning Kayla, and basically everyone else." I said. "Any cool plans today? Are you going to practice your sun powers? Blow up any monsters?" Kayla said curiously like a 4 year old who had just discovered kittens. Most of my half siblings (and a lot of people from camp) were interested in my powers. Which was cool and nice and all that, but at the end of the day I have no clue how to control them or even how they work. I had hoped Chiron or my dad knew but they were both vague about it all. "No sunpowers today, it drained me so much the last time. Just some archery classes and medical training from Will today."
"I can teach you how to play an instrument!" Austin said excitingly. "Orrr we can do a deep dive into oracles and spirituality?" Gracie asked me. All my siblings were excited to see what my strengths and weaknesses were. That's why every sibling wanted to show and teach me their strong suits. But most of the Apollo stuff didn't really interest me. I just knew deep down. "Sorry guys, got a long schedule ahead. Training, reading into monsters and medical training. We'll do it some other time!" I said while hastingly getting out.

I trained with Percy, Malcolm and Kayla. Percy was just teaching me about combat and sword techniques. I liked swords fighting the best, it just came so natural to me. Also it made sense in my head, where my leg needed to stand or what kind of move I needed to make. Malcolm was teaching me more about using your brain with fighting. Strategies and knowing your opponent etc. I admired him. He was always two steps ahead of me even though he wasn't as good at sword fighting as I was. He and I worked well together. We would make a good combat duo I thought to myself. I saw Percy staring at Malcolm and me while we were sparring. It's like he almost looked mad, jealous. Malcolm looked back at me. "Don't mind him, just keep focusing on me. You almost had me beat sunny." He said sarcastically.

At last Kayla gave me archery 101. The bow and arrow felt strange in my hand. Luckily it was just the two of us because I embarrassed myself pretty badly. I shot anywhere but the bullseye. I couldn't control my aim and I felt powerless. I even almost shot at Kayla's head. She tried everything but it didn't work. I gave up and Kayla tried being nice to me but I could see the disappointment in her face. I knew she wanted another sibling to be good at archery, but I failed.
