I ran out of the Apollo cabin trying hastily to find Percy.

The sun was in its golden hour, and it shined down on our small camp. Our own little peaceful world. I have to think clearly, where would he be. Maybe the Poseidon cabin? I could always try looking for him there. I ran as fast as I could. I knocked on the cabin door and called his name. Yet no sound. I looked through the windows but the place looked empty. Shit

Where is he?

Maybe the stables, I remember him telling me he liked going there. It wasn't far from here anyway, so it could be worth the try. I started running again, and arrived quickly to the stables. I yelled out his name "Percy!!". Nothing. "Percy, are you here?!" I yelled again. Nothing but my voice here. I sat down. Now without all hope. I'm out of breath, tired and I desperately need to tell Percy about my newest weird dream. He was also keeping something from me. I could tell. Others knew as well, Rachel had told me at the beginning of the quest.

"You know you're sitting in pegasus shit, right?" A voice left from me said. I looked up and the one and only oracle was standing there. "Shit, are you kidding?" I said while quickly standing up. "Yeah I was joking ahaha, but that look on your face was worth it." She said with a devilish smile on her face.
"So, you survived." Rachel said while sitting down.
"I sure did. Not sure if I was meant to."
"You were destined to survive, trust me."
"Could you quit that bullshit? Ever since I came to camp, I feel like people have been hiding some things from me. It's not fair. I mean, 17 almost 18 years of my life have been in total darkness, and now I find the light." I said to her.
"Kind of ironic, isn't it ahah." She said laughing.
I just noticed my word choice. I cracked a smile.
"Look, I'm pretty sure Percy hasn't told you anything. Because well, he isn't very good at talking about these kinds of things. I just, I wanted to tell you before, but I didn't know much of it. It was a camp thing and I haven't been very active at camp ever since my powers weakened. I also didn't know much about it. But now I do. And I'm ready to tell you. Again Percy was supposed to tell you all of this. I thought he would, he has been in your position before, that's why. However he didn't."
"Well, don't keep me waiting. Tell me!" I said
"There was this very old prophecy. A prophecy most people didn't take seriously, because it was very vague. The prophecy has to do with Keos, and his prophecy when he turned 17 and found out about his powers."
"Keos? Apollo and Elena's son? One of the only Apollo kids who was able to wield the necklace?" I asked Rachel.
"That exact one. The reason why he even put on the necklace was because of a prophecy that foretold his future. His future of power, wrath and revenge. And obviously his tragic death by the hands of his own father." Rachel explained.

My dad really was a shit dad.

"However, when Keos died, that same oracle spoke of another prophecy, similar to Keos's prophecy. That's why the Gods took control of the necklace, they were afraid of another Apollo kid rising to power and being too powerful. But the Gods soon realized Keos was one in a million, and other Apollo kids weren't even close to the powers he possessed. And so the prophecy slowly became a story, a myth. Until you showed up." She explained.
"How did Percy know about it though?" I asked.
"Well at camp most kids get taught about the stories of the past, and Keos his story was a big one. However, his story was altered, they kept his necklace a secret. So that no one else was going to search for it. And also Elena was kept a secret. Out of respect for Apollo. The prophecy that was told after his death was a big myth. Most campers just thought of it as a nice campfire story. Not knowing, it was real. And now set in motion, because, well, it's about you. The prophecy is about you." Rachel said. This is crazy, an eons old prophecy being spoken even before I was born. But I did feel connected to it all. Keos, the necklace, my powers. It was all clear evidence.
"So, how does this prophecy go?" I asked

"Alright, so this is about me?" I asked
"Well yeah, who else?" She laughed.
"I'm just hearing another person in the prophecy. a child of night will be at sea. That does not sound like me." I said
"Just because I know the prophecy doesn't mean I have figured it out. You don't really figure these things out. It just happens." She said.
"I guess you're right, I mean the other one was pretty accurate. It literally told me from the start 'Khaos wakes'. But this new prophecy, or I should say a rather old prophecy, makes things complicated. I was meaning to tell you about my newest nightmare, I saw Malcolm." I said while explaining my nightmare to her.
"Talk to Percy. And then talk to me and Chiron. It sounds like Malcolm is in big trouble. We need to set up another quest. Maybe even a new prophecy, if I can get my powers working again. We cannot waste time." She said. I expected her to answer like this, wanting immediate action. And I'm glad she wants that. But part of me was also so tired. I'd spent weeks fearing my life, running and trying to keep everyone safe. And now I had to do that all over again. I guess Rachel read my mind because she hugged me and said;
"Keep your head up girl, you did good on your quest, and you'll do even better on the next one. You have your necklace now. You have Percy."
I nodded and gave her another hug.
"Thank you Rachel, thank you for the truth. We'll talk soon." I said to her while standing up. She nodded and I walked away from the stables.

I noticed the sun was going down and the sky was already filling up itself with stars and a full moon. I got an idea, how was I so dumb, Percy was at the beach. The place he took me in my first few days at camp. A son of Poseidon and I thought he was at the stables. He must be at the beach. I started running again. It all felt so important. Running towards the sounds of the waves, and the smell of burnt sand. When I finally arrived I didn't see him. He wasn't on land. That's when I looked closer, almost if the moon showed me.

There he stood. Completely dry in a never ending ocean. Him, in all of his glory.

I ran towards him. Not caring about the cold water or my clothes getting wet. He almost looked like he was in a trance, just looking up at the night sky. I grabbed him by his shoulders and hugged him. He finally noticed me, and hugged me back firmly. His head was on mine, and his hands wrapped up around me. My wet clothes, against his warm dry body. I looked up, and he kissed me. I love him so much. It truly just felt like me and him, against the rest of the world.

I truly don't care about what my future brings. I just want to be with him. Always.
