(heads up before u start reading... ik hockey championships usually aren't around this time but i needed to make this work so)
another couple weeks had passed and it was also 1 week before prom. cooper had asked ava out to prom, but they weren't dating yet. but me and ava were at some prom dress store trying to find some dresses. after a couple hours of looking me and ava had found the perfect dresses. hers was a black with velvet patterns and mine was just plain pink. we tried them on, and they fit perfect. we got them and headed back to my house. when i walked in the kitchen, there was some roses on the counter with a note. and of course it was from jack.
sorry i haven't been over in a while, hockey's been stressful and taking up a lot of my time, i'll come over soon i promise i love you
"aw what's that" ava asked.
"just a little something from jack ya know" i smiled and picked up the roses to put them in a vase.
"we can head downstairs and watch a movie or something, and ya know we'll both fall asleep" i said grabbing 2 waters from the fridge and throwing one at her. the boys wouldn't be back from hockey until way late anyway, it annoyed me with championships coming up, cause then they had practice on fridays.
me and ava turned on gilmore girls our favorite show and laid down on opposite sides of the L shaped couch until we both drifted off.

"shh you'll wake em" i heard cooper say as the door creaked open. i slowly opened my eyes to see jack and cooper and alex and cole standing there.
"well hey boys" i said slowly sitting up.
"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to wake you" jack said walking towards me and laying down next to me. cooper and cole and alex just walked out, since ava hadn't woken up yet.
i laid back down and turned towards him.
"i picked my prom dress today, i can't wait for you to see it" i smiled, looking up at him.
"i can't wait to see it on you" he laughed and kissed me. we both fell asleep soon after.

"jack get up, i wanna go to target" i whisper shouted at the boy who wouldn't get up.
"im up, im up" he said.
"whatever, let's go" i grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs.
we both got ready and got in the car and drove to target, and did some other shopping.
we pretty much watched movies the rest of the day, prom was in a week and championships were 2 weeks after that. life was getting interesting.
