chapter 14

it was the week of championships which meant it was time for canada. it was around 3am and all of us were getting up and getting ready for the airport. we had to pick jack and his brothers up since with all there bags, their moms car didn't have enough room.

i threw my suitcase and coopers in the car and i got in the car, cooper slowly after me and then my parents. it was still dark out and i was still half asleep. i fell back asleep until we got to the airport and we headed in and went through security and finally made it to the gate.

we sat at the gate for about a hour and that hour consisted of me and jack begging cooper and him to trade tickets so jack could sit next to me. and we facetimed alex and cole since they were already there.

"just give me the dam ticket" jack said.

"no you can deal with it" cooper pouted back.

finally we boarded and the hughes and williams family were on there way to canada! me jack and cooper were all in a row and our moms and my dad. so jim was left sitting by luke and quinn.the rest of the plane ride was a blur. i slept, me and jack watched a movie, i did some school work, and slept some more.

and finally we were in canada. we made our way through the airport to call a uber. we crammed in the 2 ubers and headed to the hotel. i watched a movie on my phone for the car ride and texted a jack a little and finally we were there.

we grabbed our bags out of the back and stood in the lobby for a little bit. our parents agreed that all the kids could get the bigger room for themselves so we grabbed the room keys and headed up.

"we're going out for drinks, see y'all later" my mom yelled as we walked into our room.

the room was huge there was bunk beds, 2 king beds, a pull out couch. luke and quinn took the bunk beds, cooper took the pull out couch, he always picked the pullout couch, me and jack took one of the beds, and then there was a empty bed. but i knew what it was gonna be for. i grabbed my phone quick and went into the bathroom to call ava.

"ava are you almost here?!" i whisper yelled into the phone.

"i'm almost there i'll text you when i get there" she said and quickly hung up. ava had been in canada for a couple days now, she was staying with her aunt and uncle, and also lying to my brother. i walked out of the bathroom and all the boys look confused.

"what was that about" cooper questioned. my phone pinged and ava had texted me she was here.

"oh um nothing i'll be right back" i said running out the hotel room before the boys could question me, into the elevator and into the lobby.

"avaaaa" i yelled running into the lobby and giving her a hug.

"ugh i'm so happy to see you and cooper" she winked. as she dropped her bags.

"alright let's go" i said grabbing one of her bags and we headed into the elevator.

"cooper is gonna be so happy" i said while we exited the elevator.

i opened the room door and we walked in the room and she dropped her bags and cooper came running over. i walked over by jack.

"so that's what all this was about" jack whispered, i just smiled. the boys had to leave for practice but we were meeting them for dinner after.

me and ava just sat around for a couple hours until we started getting ready about a hour before we had to leave. we blasted taylor swift. while one of us showered and the other picked out our outfits. i showered first, when i got out i put on some jeans with a nice shirt. then ava showered put on a nice romper with a sweater. we did our usual makeup and made our way to the lobby to wait for the uber.

once we got to the restaurant the boys were already there showered and changed. we ate our dinner and we were about to leave but jack grabbed my wrist.

"me and ellie are gonna stay back, catch you guys later" jack said dabbing up all the boys.

"ok whatever" cooper rolled his eyes. and they all left. cooper and ava holding hands and alex and cole skipping around laughing like little girls. me and jack started to walk down the opposite side of the street.

"jack whats this about?" i asked.

"its just with championships, i still wanted us to hang out." jack said looking down at me.

"oh aw, you don't have to jack" i smiled. we walked down the crowded ontario streets. he just smiled at me the whole time. until we finally reached our destination. we ended up at this tunnel with lights.

"here's the brockville railway tunnel" he paused. "my dad used to take my mom here" he smiled.

"jack this is amazing, ugh i love you so much" i said kissing him. we walked through the tunnel.

we had made it back to the hotel and no one was in the room. so i jumped in the shower. when i got out i realized i had left my clothes on the bed.

i wrapped a towel around my hair and around my body and walked out of the bathroom to a shirtless jack on the bed.

"hey babe" jack said looking at me.

"hey" i said nervously. i quickly threw on a pink sports bra and some nike pros and crawled into bed with him.

"one last practice and then championships start" he said and i smiled at him.

"i'm so proud of you". i replied

"ellie, i love you" he said kissing me. we watched the movie for a little bit longer, until everyone came back. i was about half asleep. and wasn't paying much attention. i fell asleep soon after.

"el, el get up" i woke up to jack shaking me.

"i gotta leave for practice, see ya later love you" jack said, leaving a kiss on my forehead.

"oh yea, love you too see ya later" i said turning back over to go back to sleep.
