The one and only Jack Hughes has spent a good portion of his life with the Andrews family, mostly Cooper his best hockey buddy. When one day he realizes maybe there's more to the family then just his friendship with Cooper.
"your gonna do great" i smiled and kissed him on the cheek. we walked down to the lobby and the boys had to get on the bus but it wasn't here yet so we took some pictures.
me and jack walked over to ellen and his grandma.
"don't fall down the stairs, now would be a bad time" his grandma said which made him fake fall into me.
"aw look at coles suit" his mom said.
"cole come meet my grandma" jack yelled to cole. cole and jacks grandma hugged and then cole came by me.
"hello ellie" he smiled and hugged me.
"i'm so proud of you, you need to come visit the new apartment soon" i hugged him.
"i've been waiting for the invite" he replied as i grabbed jacks hand and we walked down the stairs. i said my goodbyes to the boys and me and ava and my parents called a uber. i found the boys once we arrived and we found the boys after they got to meet all there fans. me and ava found cooper and jack and walked down the hallway with them. we all had to get in the elevator. we walked into the arena and jack grabbed my hand.
"holyyy shittt" cooper squealed, we continued walking and jack gave me a quick hug.
"i'm gonna get some interviews done, i'll see when i go to sit down" he kissed me and walked off, me and ava walked towards our families and sat down. jack came and sat down next to me and cooper wasn't far from down from us.
"holy fuck, ellie" he grabbed my hand again.
"jack im so excited" i smiled. he just stayed quiet. we sat for about 30 minutes before they started.
"the first selection of the 2019 NHL draft belongs to the new jersey devils" the announcer said. someone from the new jersey devils walked up the stage and grabbed the microphone.
"for the first pick over all the new jersey devils are proud to select, from the US program Jack Hughes" the announcer finished and i immediately started crying. he quickly hugged his brother and his family before coming to me.
"i'm so proud of you, i love you so much" i hugged him and he walked off. now i just to wait for coopers.
"the 9th selection anaheim is proud to select from the USA development program Cooper Andrews" the announcer said as me and ava looked at eachother and smiled.
"so proud of you coopy" i hugged him as he walked up the stage.
the rest of the night was spent with the boys doing interviews, until they were done and cole cooper and jack and us all met up.
all the boys messed around and i got a picture of them.
