One Week Girlfriend...

Chapter 3

*Rashmi Pov*

"Preetha?" I glanced away from the window hearing Chitra's voice and saw both of them frowning.

"Nothing! I just wanted to inform Rohan that we nearly reached Kanpur. You are staying over?" Chitra added the last question even though Kalyan shook his head in negative.

"Okay! How is he doing?" she asked, clearing her throat.

"What did she say?" I asked her when she took her phone away and stared at it.

"She just said fine and hung up on me, but seems like Rohan made her do it." She replied glaring at the phone.

"They are back together?" I asked in a shocked tone.

"We should have expected it already." Kalyan mumbled, shaking his head and turned his car into the city from the highway.

"How many times? They break up and patch up. In middle of all this, they bring these new people with whom we will be just getting closer and then they will be just out of the group. You guys are really obsessed with bringing new people into the group." I said, looking at Kalyan while he just cleared his throat.

"It's not like that." He weakly commented.

"Oh please! I experienced it on a first hand basis. Did you forget?" I asked, leaning forward to move closer.

"I still can't believe that you guys tried that hard because of a bet. You wanted me in your group because of a bet and why am I still a part of it." I added to myself more than to him.

"If it wasn't for that then I have no need to bear with you." I ignored her comment completely.

"It's just fate, Rashmi. You are meant to be a part of our crazy group." Kalyan stated smirking at me from the side.

"No one is crazier than you and we all proofs for that." Chitra whispered.

"God! I want to forget all those moments." I mumbled leaning back and glanced at the window really wishing to forget all of those moments in my life.

"How can you forget them, Rashmi? Shall I remind you with your nickname? What say, one week girlfriend?" Chitra teased and I stayed silent, not having any energy to counter her and she too kept quiet.

That stupid tag which I want to throw away from my life more than anything. It is all because of only one person. And I can't believe that I am giving up my holidays for that same person.

"Are you happy or sad that they both are together again?" Kalyan asked and I glanced at them to see they are glancing at me in between to hear my reply.

"I don't mind about all that. I just don't understand the concept of..." they both cut me off saying, "Getting back together after break up."

"Exactly! What is the point in all that?" I asked shaking my head.

"It's just a normal process, Rashmi. We both go through that from time to time." Chitra explained.

"What you both do is fight. I know the difference between Rohan's and your relationship." I pointed out leaning forward.

"And only you fight with Kalyan. All he does is to stay quiet and listen to you." I added smiling at her.

"You! Why am I even allowing you to stay at my house?" she asked glaring at me.

"I can always travel back to Noida." I said, picking up my phone to search for any available busses or trains.

"No!" they both shouted immediately making me drop my phone.
