One Week Girlfriend...

Chapter 5

*Rohan Pov*

"Good morning!" I greeted Kalyan entering the kitchen while he just waved at me yawning.

"It is actually afternoon, but for your sake I am greeting you with morning one but you are still sleepy. Couldn't sleep while anticipating the fun you will have on this trip?" I teased sitting beside me.

"Yeah, right! That would have been the case if not for your stupid plan." He mumbled in an irritated tone.

"What is wrong with my plan?" I asked innocently.

"How about everything?" I glanced at the entrance to see Preethi entering while holding the tray of food which seems to be untouched.

"Why is he not eating food?" I asked her confused.

"Will you eat if your best friend locked you in a room?" she asked snorting and sat with us.

"What else could I do? He wanted to kill me." I replied shrugging.

"Even I would have if I was in his place." Kalyan pointed out.

"I was just trying to help him out." I mumbled, looking down disappointed about how things turned out.

How would I have known that everything will become this worse when I was just trying to help him in the first place? Now, he is just ready to kill me with his bare hands.

"Seriously, I never thought he would take things this seriously though. He used to never mind about what other people are thinking." Preetha commented and I smiled at her.

"Right? I think he is just acting." I said feeling relief.

"I don't think he will act anymore after you finish your next plan." She mumbled folding her hands.

"It is the best plan I have ever made. It will make everyone's life happy." I confidently uttered those words.

"Everyone?" they both asked, looking at me.

"Yes!" I replied, staring at her and completely ignoring Kalyan.

Did she really think I will just let her go after being with her for so long? I went through all that stupidity in my life already and I am not ready to go through that same which I will do if she leaves me this time.

"So, you both are really coming for this trip as a couple?" Kalyan asked, clearing his throat and I smiled at Preetha's irritated expression.

"Yes! It seems the girl he was supposed to go with ditched him at the last moment and I am coming along with him because I really don't want him to screw this around anymore." She commented.

"Who was that girl anyway? You never introduced her to any of us." He asked staring at me.

"There is no need to talk about her anyway." I replied and there is no chance because for you all to meet there should be a girl I was taking with me in the first place, right?

I was planning you to waste two tickets from the beginning and do anything to make Preetha come with me. And somehow it is happening without my knowing. During this trip I will make sure she will let go of the idea to leave me and I want my plan to be successful regarding Karthik mainly because of this too. I am right out acting like a selfish person and I don't mind at all.

"Then where was the guy with whom you are supposed to come with?" he asked, turning his attention towards her and she squirmed in her seat hearing that question.

"Because of the mess he made, I couldn't find anyone and so there is no one." She replied staring at him.

"You didn't have anyone to bring with when we actually planned and you said yes? Then the booked tickets would have been wasted if you were not able to find anyone." He mumbled shaking his head.
