One Week Girlfriend...

"We didn't miss it, Rashmi." I repeated when she still sat in silence looking out.

Luckily we got the side berth which made it easy to talk with her mainly when she is mad at me like this. I glanced at the others to see even they observed our fight we just had.

"Come on! Will you be like this throughout the whole journey?" I asked, looking at her and she finally glanced at me.

"Do you know how worried I got when you were not here? To top of that you wanted to pick me up. Then we both would have missed it." She said shaking her head.

"But you got into it even if I hadn't come." I pointed out.

"And that's what helped you to catch it soon. Just imagine we both struggling to get into it with this luggage I have." She pointed back.

"Fine! I will be early next time." I promised, smiling at her.

"You better! Wait! Does that mean you will come with me every time we get holidays?" she asked frowning.

"Of course!" I said, nodding and she nodded back still staring at me.

"What are you thinking?" I asked when she didn't look away.

"This time we just have two weeks holidays and that's why you are going to stay here for one week. But what will you do next semester when we get more than one month as holidays?" she asked folding her arms.

"Then you stay for a few days at Kanput itself." I replied shrugging.

"And why would I do that?" she raised her eyebrow.

"Because you may get too many doubts while researching and your phone balance will get burned by the time you get any of it cleared." I explained.

"Oh! So, you are coming with me because of work." She mumbled nodding.

"Then let's do our work now. If it was Kalyan I would have been chatting, but because it's you I need to work." Adding that she took the bag we both placed in the middle.

"Stop it!" I said, taking the bag away while she chuckled seeing my expression.

"So, I will be meeting your Dad soon. Do I have to be careful about anything?" I asked looking at her.

"Hmm... he was always cool while meeting my friends. I don't think there will be any problem." She replied smiling.

"But I am not just your friend." I pointed out.

"But I never saw him meeting my boyfriend before to know how it will be." She pointed back.

"Why? Didn't tell him about Aryan?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"It's not like that. There was no chance for him to meet and if we had not broken up, then maybe he would have met him. You missed the chance of knowing how he will be while meeting my boyfriend, Karthik." She replied shaking her head in disappointment.

"But I will note down the points now for future use." She added smiling.

"Future use?" I asked, looking at her and she nodded, still smiling.

"I am allowing you to say all this because I am still regretting for not taking your feelings strongly and act on them that time. But someday I will definitely snap." I warned her.

"I will see what could snap you." She said, shrugging and I shook my head taking out the book to read.

"Before you say anything like Kalyan wouldn't have done that, let me tell you, it doesn't effect me." I stated looking at her when she opened her mouth.
