Chapter 8

*Karthik Pov*

"Wow!" I got over my shock hearing that word in four different voices.

"You!" I said, looking at Rohan and immediately stood up before running towards the door but they all started running.

"Chitra! You said he will not be angry anymore." Rohan shouted at her when they reached downstairs and started running away, but stopped when they found I was targeting only Rohan.

"He was laughing with her and talking normally. So, I thought he let go of his anger." She shouted back and I finally got a hold of him.

"Give him a good beating." Preetha commented and they all walked towards me while I glared at each one of them.

"You all are part of his plan to lock me down too. So, don't think I am letting go of you guys. I just want to deal with him first." I said and they took a step back hearing my words.

"That's not fair. You were talking properly with her. Why are you angry only at us?" Chitra asked frowning.

"What did she do in the first place? I have to take revenge from you guys behalf of her too. Why did you all drag her from her home and disturbed her holidays?" I asked, frowning at them and turned to see Rohan trying to release himself from my hold but I didn't let go of his collar.

I am already angry at him for all these things happening, but now I am ready to kill them for involving her in this way. Blackmail? They are friends or enemies to her?

"I know! I shouldn't have called your Ex and spilled everything like that." Rohan said in a pleading tone.

"We will talk about that later. Why are you guys blacking Rashmi?" I asked, glaring at him.

"You actually want to talk about the matter related to you for later and you are doing all this for Rashmi?" he asked in a shocked tone and started laughing, making me frown.

"Didn't I tell you guys?" he asked, looking at others and they all slowly nodded.

"What did you tell them? And will you stop laughing?" I asked, putting pressure on my hold making him move towards me without his effort.

"No need to use violence, Karthik." He mumbled, trying to yank himself away from me.

"Then stop laughing when I am serious right now." I warned to which he frowned at me.

"I am laughing because of you though. Do you know that a person's real feelings can be known when they keep their own problem aside and think about that other person's problem first?" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"What nonsense are you talking right now?" I asked in an irritated tone.

"And I have been wrong all along. Damn! I can't believe I was this stupid at that time." He continued not paying any attention to me.

"You are still the same." Preetha commented, to which he just sighed.

Right! These both are back together as far as Rashmi told me. I need to talk to her right now more than this. I can't believe she was keeping all that inside and never expressed to anyone of us.

"I will deal with you after talking to Rashmi. And you all will tell her that there is no blackmail from your side." Saying that I let go of him and started walking towards the steps to get my things to go.

She must have gone to Mehrin's house, right? Where else will she go right now when the hostel is closed down?

"I don't want to do what you are asking us, though." I stopped hearing those words from Rohan and I turned around to stare at him.
