Chapter 14

I came out of my shock when I continued to hear Rohan's and Kalyan's voice calling my name. I turned around to see them waiting for me while she is lying down calmly.

I ran towards her, ignoring the others and sat down before her pushing her legs away. What the hell is wrong with her?

"What's wrong with you?" I can't believe she is the one asking me that question.

"I should ask the same. Was it by mistake?" I asked, frowning and waved at others to not wait for me.

"What are you talking about? And why are you sitting with your back facing me?" she asked in a completely confused tone.

I glanced over my shoulder and felt anger rising when she is actually looking at me confused. I shook my head and turned my gaze away from her and stared at the ocean.

"You really don't know what I am talking about?" I asked her this time confused rather than angry after a few minutes silence.

"If I knew, I wouldn't have asked, right?" she asked, moving a little closer to me.

"Are you mad that you weren't able to get me into the ocean?" she asked chuckling.

"I mean, I know you are very competitive but this is too much." She added still laughing and I shook my head groaning.

Why did I share my exact thoughts everytime with her? No one knows about how I feel to lose in something more than her. They know I get upset, but not in the way she knows.

"It's not about that. It's about what you did." I explained not wishing to say the exact words.

"I did? Wait! Are you seriously talking about that?" she asked and finally laughed, which made me more confused.

"It was just a kiss on the cheek. Why are you so angry about that?" she asked, slapping on my back.

"How can you take that so lightly?" I asked her frowning.

"Why are you taking it so seriously? Don't tell me, no one ever kissed you on your cheek." She asked and this time she seemed serious.

"That's not the case, Rashmi. You are my friend." I pointed out.

"Exactly! I am your friend and if you want, I can go and do the same with Rohan and Kalyan." She said sighing and moved back.

"What?" I kind of asked myself more than her.

Is what she is saying is true? Yeah! What's so wrong with that? Why did I react in this way? I thought, feeling disturbed to feel all these confusions.

"Should I go and do that?" she asked and I immediately turned a little to stop her.

"No need for that." I replied strongly and she smiled at me nodding.

What is more surprising is that, she seems to be more than normal with all these things when I actually thought she will be uncomfortable. I still remember the shock I felt when she suddenly leaned over me and laid her head on my shoulder.

"Move! Move!" I suddenly looked up to see Chitra and Kalyan rushing towards me and she is shouting me to move back.

With immediate reflex, I shifted back and she sat down with her back to me. I moved more when she got herself comfortable and they both started searching something on her leg.

"Please don't be a big wound." She chanted and Kalyan poured some fresh water.

"What happened?" Rashmi asked, leaning over me to glance at them.
