One Week Girlfriend...

Chapter 7

*Rashmi Pov*

"You should have finished your lunch, Rashmi." I completely ignored Kalyan's comment and sat in silence.

He is talking about lunch right now when my head is actually ready to explode? Are they really my friends? How can they blackmail me with this?

"I am against Rohan's blackmail." He added and I finally glanced up to see him turning in his seat to stare at me.

I shifted my look towards Rohan who is driving the car, but is also not at all meeting my eye even through the rearview mirror. Why is he feeling bad now after saying all those things?

"Do you want Takeout from this place?" Chitra asked from my side and Preetha snorted, which even I want to do because she too has the same expression as Rohan.

"Sure!" I replied and Rohan obediently stopped the car.

"I will get it. Three sandwiches are fine?" Kalyan asked removing his seatbelt and I gave him a nod before staring at Rohan.

"I will also come. It will be hard for you to carry." Rohan said removing his seat belt, but I pushed it back before he can move it.

"I think he is strong enough to carry them." I pointed and gestured Kalyan to go who is trying to hold his laugh.

"No need to be this mad, Rashmi." Chitra mumbled and I immediately turned to stare at her.

"I will help him." Saying that she moved to unlock the door, but I used my other hand to block it.

"You have been teasing me about not having a boyfriend too much because of this, right? What did you think would happen by doing that? By hearing your words I will feel really bad about missing something in my life and will grab onto Rohan's words and immediately accept this?" I asked and she had the nerve to nod.

Did they all forget that we are talking about Karthik here? He will never accept for this and there is no way they can make him go along with all this madness. He must be already disturbed and they want to add this as a burden.

"Wait! If it is really spread like you guys said then why didn't Mehrin inform me? Are you guys lying to me right now?" I asked glaring at them.

"You ask her why didn't she tell you. What will we gain by lying to you?" Rohan asked, turning around finally meeting my eyes.

"Preetha! I am blocking two blackmailers here. Can you call Mehrin for my sake?" I asked, gesturing to my phone and told her my password.

"You just woke up?" that's what she said the moment she picked up my call.

"I wanted to let you rest for one week because I give you a call." She added making me smile.

She knows me better than anyone for sure. But my holidays are definitely ruined right now and I don't know what to do.

"Mehrin! Why didn't you tell me about Karthik's issue?" I asked, wishing to know whether everything is true or not immediately and not get fooled by them.

I shook my head at Kalyan who started to open his mouth the moment he got into the car. Rohan gestured my phone and he gave a nod before passing the bag to Chitra.

"That? I didn't want you to know and worry about him. That would have ruined your holidays." She explained and cringed to myself when I saw Rohan raised his eyebrows.

"Okay! Okay! I will call you again." I said, gesturing Preetha to hang up.

"Wait! This is about Aryan. Do you know that..." I immediately cut the call moving my hand away from Rohan's seat belt.
