One Week Girlfriend...

Chapter 11

*Rashmi Pov*

We both chuckled after I teased him and I naturally turned to stare outside before dropping my smile. With whatever we have done now, is the awkwardness over?

We kind of gave each other friendly hugs before, but why did I freeze when I fell into his arms as he made me sit down properly? Why was that so awkward at that time?

And if not for Rohan's talking about the message, I don't know how I would have come out of that frozen moment and would have definitely got myself another embarrassment.

What can I tell him now? How are we supposed to converse and about what? I don't think I was ever this hesitant before him.

"Enjoying the view?" seems like he doesn't have any of these thoughts and is completely normal.

"Yeah!" I replied, clearing my throat.

"This is your first time traveling by flight, right? It must be exciting. I still remember when I first traveled by this." Hearing his words I realized one main thing.

I completely forgot that this is my first time and was thinking about all kinds of other things but didn't feel how it is and everything. Damn! It is still not late.

I looked around and then actually stared outside before smiling. It's so beautiful and all this time I was concentrating on my stupid thoughts instead of this.

"I wish we were able to sit near the window too." I glanced at Chitra hearing her words.

"You can come and sit here. I think it is visible from here too." I said gesturing Karthik's place.

"You mean you both will shift to our seats?" she asked and I immediately shook my head.

"Why should I give up my seat? You can just sit here and Karthik will go to your seat." I explained and she rolled her eyes hearing that.

"Why would I sit away from my boyfriend? You shouldn't offer to sit away from your boyfriend too." She said smirking and I paused for a second before smiling.

"I am not that obsessed with my boyfriend that I worry and stay attached to him all the time." I said shrugging making her glare at me.

"Woah! You got lucky there, Karthik." Kalyan continued my joke and this time her glare has shifted its target to her boyfriend.

"I am definitely lucky." Karthik commented, smiling and I immediately glanced at him.

"What? You are playing along with them and I am just following you." He added shrugging and I slowly nodded at him.

"Right!" I mumbled, looking away and frowned, hearing a sound to see him standing up, but he sat down after taking out a book from his bag.

"Are you serious?" Rohan asked from behind our seats.

"Are you going to ignore your girlfriend by reading that book?" Chitra asked him frowning.

"And you are letting him? Did you forget that you are supposed to be his girlfriend?" Rohan asked leaning over my chair.

"God! It feels like we both are traveling with our parents and they are trying to guide us in dating." I mumbled shaking my head.

"We are not alone in this plane." I added getting up a little to look at everyone.

"But this is not what we accepted." Rohan pointed out.

"What is wrong now? I will just allow him to read that book while I take a small nap." I said smiling at him.

"She didn't sleep again?" Preetha asked Chitra and got a nod in reply.

I sat down and felt Karthik's gaze. I glanced at him before asking, "What happened?"
