One Week Girlfriend...

Chapter 13

*Rashmi Pov*

"Hello!" I mumbled picking my phone before it can burst my ears with the non-stop ringing.

"What are you doing?" I heard Kalyan's voice and I yawned rubbing my eyes.

"I am sleeping." I replied and frowned, remembering we are on a trip.

Then why is he calling me and why is he asking me what I am doing. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and concentrate on his words.

"You are still sleeping?" his reaction caused a small déjà vu moment.

Wait! He gave the same reaction that day, right? So, all this is just a dream? I thought opening my eyes and sighed, realizing I am still in the hotel room.

"What happened? And why are you calling me?" I asked him, frowning and looked around to search for Karthik.

"What happened? We are going to leave soon and you are still asleep. Karthik is like asking us to let you sleep. But we can't leave without you, right." He explained and my eyes widened.

"Why didn't he wake me up? Argh! Wait for a few minutes and I will be there." I said, hanging up and rushed to get ready as soon as I can.

What happened to him after coming to this trip? He is not the type to leave any of his friends behind, then why didn't he wake me up.

"You! Why didn't you wake me up?" I asked him the moment I reached the lounge where everyone is waiting for me.

"You looked tired and I didn't want to disturb you." He replied, smiling and his reply definitely paused my reaction.

"And that's what boyfriends do, right. I should think about your rest than anything else, right." He added so that only I could hear by walking near to me.

Right! So, he already started on our bet and he definitely looks proud of himself right now. I smiled at him before moving a little closer so that others can't hear.

"Nice try! But it would have been a moving one if you had stayed back with me in the room instead of thinking to leave with them while I stay alone in the room." I whispered and he immediately frowned.

"If your conversation is over, can we leave?" Chitra asked and I glanced at them to see everyone is ready to go for beach.

Then I remember that we will just travel near to the hotel and go to a near beach while getting adjusted to the area. Why do they have to do that like a scheduled one? What will happen if we get late?

"We will get stuck in the traffic if we don't move soon." Rohan commented, checking his phone and that gave my answer.

"Wait! I didn't have breakfast." I said, looking at the dining hall side.

"You can have it on the way somewhere." Karthik said before, anyone can react to it.

"We will search somewhere and buy." Preetha said, nodding and I calmly followed them.

"What's with that expression?" Karthik asked in a whisper.

"My boyfriend is supposed to take care of me like you said, right. But seems like you again failed. What is this, Karthik? I think I heard you saying you will defeat me by morning itself and here you are like way back from starting point." I said, shaking my head and when he paused in his steps I continued to walk with others.

We waited for a few minutes and finally our vehicle stopped near us. We all got into it, but I realized Karthik is not with us.

"Where did he go now?" Rohan asked when we all realized that at the same time.
