Maaran waits, every fibre of his body is reeling to go in but he can't, because this is vetri's revenge. He needs to have it.
He knows his brother needs this closure. So he waits...
Waits for a criminal to die...
Waits for a criminal empire to end...
Waits for a Knight in the dark to finish his mission...
But, most of all, he waits for his little brother to come out.
He doesn't know how much time has passed when finally Vetri walks.. No limps out of his warehouse.
Maaran waits for him to come to him, because somehow his legs are fixed to the ground, shaking slightly, when Vetri stumbles and the doctor in him wakes up. He rushes forward and vetri falls into his arms.
The doctor in him goes overdrive and prepares a mental list.
The patient has a head wound and possible head trauma.
The patient's breathing is ragged but thorough.
The patient seems to be conscious but not consistent.
The patient is also bleeding from shoulder blades. This... This he can fix, right now.
So, he takes off his jacket adjusts it in the position of a sling and ties a not right over the wound. There is a deep hiss and he looks up.
He looks into Vetri's eyes and the one that looks up at him is not the renowned magician or the self appointed Knight.
It's his little brother.
And that's when the tears start...
The patient had ventricular blockage and almost died... The patient is his little brother....
Suddenly, he hugs Vetri.
A lot has happened in the last 24 hours.
His fiancé and mother are safe.
His parents are dead.
They were killed and snatched from him.
No, not just from him....
From them.
He has a brother now, his little brother.
THEY lost their parents.
Their parents are dead.
But he still has his little brother and he will forever be grateful for that.
His tears hadn't run out when he feels a soothing hand on his back.
He doesn't know what lies ahead for either of them.
But, sitting here outside Vetri's warehouse and hugging him. He is happy when Vetri quietly says,
"It's okay bro.....
Ssup Sheep?
