It had been a few weeks since Alex's birthday and their anniversary had passed and Alex had felt under the weather. Sebastian had taken notice of this and had her teachers give him the work to later give to her. Jack would take care of Alex when he wasn't in class and Ellie-May when she was free. It was now around six pm when Jack and Ellie-May sat on the edge of her bed." Do you and Sebastian have protected sex?" He questioned rubbing her feet." We've never had protected sex." Ellie-May sighed." I'll go to the store." Shee stood up to the door earning a confused look from Alex." The store for what?" She questioned."A pregnancy test love." Jack answered." You can't possibly think months of unprotected sex wouldn't have consequences of pregnancy?" Alex groaned and flopped onto the bed." But we're in college." Ellie-May sighed and left the dorm. A few hours later she had taken the pregnancy test and was now waiting for the results. Jack hugged her." Lex he's not going leave you, he loves you, and If you are pregnant he will take care of you and the baby no doubt." He kissed her cheek and followed her into the bathroom. Ellie-May held her hand and Jack wrapped an arm around her waist. Alex sighed and picked up the pregnancy test and dropped it." I'm pregnant." She hugged Jack tightly and cried into his chest. Jack kissed her head." It's ok babe, everything is fine. How about you two go out to dinner and tell him. Maybe we should go shopping and buy things to tell him you're pregnant." Ellie-May gasped and smiled brightly." Yessss! Let's go, Alex. We can go out to lunch and by Starbucks and have a day out." Alex looked at them." Could we go clothes shopping too?" Jack nodded and took her back out to her room." Go get dressed and we are going to head out honey." Alex put on one of Sebastian's hoodies and a pair of shorts underneath." I'm ready" She said as she slid on her slides." Ok." They grabbed their wallets and phones before heading out the door.

They were walking around the mall with drinks and snacks in hand. " So what does the pregnant lady want to do?" Alex took a sip of her drink with a smile." I want to go look at the clothes and whatnot." Ellie-May looked at Alex." What about getting something to tell Sebastian about baby han." Alex laid a hand on her stomach and smiled."Baby Han... I like that."She giggled softly and looked up at them."Yeah, let's do that ." Jack smiled and nodded." good idea." All three went around shopping for hours. Alex picked up a sweater and gasped."This is perfect!" Ellie-May looked at the sweater and chuckled as she looked at the red sweater with the words ' dad to be' written across the front in bold white letters. Jack walked over with similar sweaters with similar text across the front."Awww, I have to buy them all." She grabbed all of the sweaters in their hands before she raced to the register. After paying for the sweatshirts she sprinted down the halls till she found the mug shop. Jack and Ellie-May followed closely behind her."Damn this pregnant woman." Ellie-May mumbled as they found Alex bent over looking for various mugs. they stood by as she grabbed six mugs and took them to the register to pay. After paying she looked at the two with a wide smile on her face." Who's hungry? I have one more stop before eating though." Jack groaned." What's the stop for?" he questioned as he slumped onto Ellie-May's side." I need a box for all of this." Ellie-May smiled." Let's just be happy that's she going to tell Sebastian." The once wide smile spread across her face was now a frightening look laced with fear." I can't tell him. He's going to leave." Jack hugged her."No, he's not. He loves you and everything will be just fine love." Alex nodded in agreement to keep her friends' minds at bay while she spiraled out of control.
