A few months later after Nick took Charlie on their first date to the beach, where they kissed in the photo booth with the dark haired male in his lap and asked him to be his boyfriend. He was now sitting at the table with his mum. With a deep sigh, Nick looked back up to his mum before he lost the confidence "Mum?" "Mmm?" "You know how Charlie's my best friend." Sarah looked up with a smile "If your going to ask if he can come to Minorca with us, the answer is no, I already booked the tickets and-" "No, that's not what I was going to say.." The blonde interrupted.
With one final deep breath, the male met his mum's eyes "He's my boyfriend. Charlie's my boyfriend." The older woman froze, face expressionless. Nick searched in his mother's eyes for any type of emotion to show her thoughts on this. With a frown, his mother met his eyes and shook her head "I'm sorry honey, but no. I don't accept this type of behaviour. I'm sure it's just a face, okay?" She responded, and the boy stiffened, his heart falling to his stomach, breath caught in his throat "I said no, I want you to go over to that boy's house and break up with him." She replied, hand on her hip.
Not bothered to look at his mum, he walked out not bothered to grab his jacket. Grabbing his phone, he unlocked it to his messages and opened Charlie's contact, with a choked sob, he started typing out a quick message, trying hard to focus on the letters since his eyes were full of tears. He closed his phone, making his walk to his boyfriend's home.
When the rugby player had reached his destination, he let out a shaky sigh and knocked on the door. It wasn't long before Charlie's mum opened it "Nick, I didn't know that you were coming over to today." "Is Charlie in?" "Upstairs in his room." His smile turned upside down, walking in, taking off his shoes, running upstairs to his boyfriend's room with his mum behind him. She knocked as Charlie opened it "Hey Nick, what's wrong?" He pulled the taller boy inside, hand resting on his back. Once the two were seated on the brunette's bed, sitting close to each other. Charlie grabbed Nick's hand in his own, using the other to wipe away his tears "Do you want to tell me what happened?" The blonde let out a heart breaking sob and fell into the other male's arms. Charlie immediately wrapped his arms around the other, holding him close "S-She said I had to break up with you.." He cried, trying to bury himself deeper into the smaller boy's chest, wanting comfort "What are you going to do? I promise I'm okay with whatever you decide." He asked "I want you to kiss me." As soon as he stopped talking, Charlie pulled him into a deep warm kiss that made his whole body shiver.
His fingers met Nick's tiny strands of hair at the base of his neck and slowly pulled on it to bring him even closer to him. The kiss was messy, slow and soft at the same time. They just wanted to feel each other. It was so good that their bodies soon started to get warmer and warmer, craving for more touching, but they only kept kissing. They stayed here like this for a bit, taking the time to breathe correctly again. Charlie let his right hand run through Nick's blonde hair, which he knew would soothe him. They pulled away "I can't break up with you! I can't, Char, I love you so much!" He sobbed, going back into his frame in Charlie's arms. The younger boy tightened his frame around him, not wanting to let go "How about my mum or Tori goes round there and they can pick up a couple of pairs of clothes for you and you may stay here?" "I'd like that." Charlie messaged his sister as she came in "Nick, keys?" He got them out of his pocket, handing them to her "I'll be back in a hour with mum." "Thank you."
Later on, Nick was cuddled into his boyfriend's chest "Char?" "Yeah?" "I love you and thank you." "It's okay and I love you too." Charlie finds himself stroking his head and playing with his dark blonde hair. Soon, he's asleep and snoring softly as Charlie heard a knock on his door. His mum opened it "Where should I put all of his stuff?" "In my wardrobe." Mrs Spring put his clothes and other belongings in her son's wardrobe, pulling the bedding over them both "I spoke to his mum, she said it's a misunderstanding." "A misunderstanding?" "Sarah said it was." Charlie rubbed Nick's arm as he woke slowly, looking up at Charlie "Do you see Nellie for a bit?" "Sure." They looked into each other's eyes which were sparkling with love and care. Nick held his face and gave him a soft forehead kiss as he smiled, pressing a soft kiss to Nick's lips.
