It was the next morning when Nick awoke, curling into Charlie's chest, his sleeves of his jumper going over his hands, knowing his jumper was too big for him but he couldn't care that he was comfortable, he shook him, waking him up "Wake up!" He straddled his lap. Charlie stirred, moving his hands to around Nick's waist and smiled "Good morning." "Morning." "Did you sleep well?" He nodded "Good, what do you want to do today?" "I want to relax outside." "Of course, Nick, want to stay in your jumper?" "Yeah, but my legs are a bit cold." "Then put something on then." Nick got up from Charlie's side, walking over to his drawers, getting a pair of pyjama shorts out, putting them on "Nick, what are you wearing under them?" He ran out of the room, locking himself in the bathroom.
Charlie got up, following him out, knocking on the door "Nick, I'm not going to laugh." He opened the bathroom and noticed something dark green under his shorts and he smirked "What is it?" Charlie hummed, poking his hip where the green was showing and Nick blushed, pulling them up more, walking out of the room, laying on his stomach on the bed. Charlie laid next to him "It's something secret." "Tease." "You'll tease me if I showed you." Nick muttered softly and Charlie rubbed his lower back, "I'd never tease you about something, I only tease you when we're both being stupid." Nick hid his face, turning around "It's nothing." "Come on, is it tight boxers?" "Yeah." "Okay, show me." Nick pulled them off, kicking them off "See?" "I believe you, honey." Charlie laid his head on Nick's chest as he stroked his hair slowly.
The brunette got up and Nick before leaning in, catching Charlie's mouth in a painfully chaste kiss. The middle Spring hummed against Nick's mouth, reaching up to grip the blonde's jaw as he pressed his tongue against the seam of his lips, tasting and teasing. Nick sighed, opening his mouth marginally, touching his tongue to Nick's softly, delicately. Nick reached out his hand, his palm burning through the thin fabric of Charlie's warm pyjama bottoms over his thigh. Charlie felt like he could almost sense the blonde's fingerprints searing themselves on his skin. They kissed for minutes, hours, days, pulling apart when their faces were flushed and their breath was ragged. Nick raised an eyebrow as the brunette snorted, resting his forehead against his fiancé's. Charlie leaned down, peppering Nick's face in little pepper kisses.
Nick squirmed, moving away with a small giggle, wriggling under the covers, hiding under them, getting up, wrapping his blanket around himself, walking downstairs "Are you okay?" He nodded, wiping his nose "I didn't say you because I didn't want to." "Oh baby, it's okay." Nick sat on the bottom steps with his blanket wrapped around him. Charlie came down, sitting behind Nick, playing with the back of his head slowly as Nick leaned back "Want to lie down on the sofa for a bit?" He nodded "Of course, come on." Nick got up "Charlie, can you be a sweetheart and make me a hot chocolate please?" "Of course, whipped cream and marshmallows?" "Yes please." "Of course."
15 minutes later, Nick noticed Charlie hadn't come downstairs, he walked upstairs to the bedroom, opening the door as he instantly covered his arm "Are you alright?" "I'm fine." He saw a pair of scissors on the bed "What have you done?" "I couldn't help myself." He sobbed. Nick pulled him into his side, rubbing his side. Charlie cried into his chest "I'm sorry." "Shh, there's no need to apologise, my darling, it's okay. Mind if I give your arms a quick clean?" He nodded, getting up, getting a flannel from the bathroom, rinsing it, walking back in, gently pulling Charlie's arm towards him, wiping his arms clean from the blood "Any more?" He shook his head "I know it's hard, but you should know that I'm here for you." "I did because my mind's crammed with all negative." "Oh sweetheart, it's okay," "It's stupid." "No it isn't, don't ever think that it is." Nick pulled Charlie close to his chest and held him tightly. Charlie never felt more safe. He sighed as he allowed himself to relax in his boyfriend's arms. "How can I help?" "Just be here." "I'm not going anywhere."
The two laid down on the bed with Nick rubbing his boyfriend's back "Are you mad?" "Not at all." He stretches his body out and feels Nick's arm snake around his waist, pulling him closer with a sleepy and sloppy kiss pressed to the part of his skin where his jaw meets his neck. Always closer.
