Nick woke the next morning to Charlie curled up to him fast asleep, he smiled, lying him down, climbing over to him to use the bathroom. Once he came back, he slid back into bed, pulling Charlie back into his arms as his eyes opened slowly, blinking at his surroundings "Good morning, beautiful." Nick whispered "Morning." Charlie replied, snuggling his head into his top "Sleep well?" He nodded, moving to straddle his boyfriend's lap, leaning down and kissed him. They both pulled away and both got back under the covers.
Nick moved to lay on his side, placing his hand on Charlie's jawline, stroking his cheek slowly with his thumb but their eyes didn't dare part one bit. Nick's mum knocked on his door before opening it "Good morning." "Morning mum." She placed two mugs of tea down on the brunettes side of the bed. She stroked Nick's back who was lying on his stomach, face stuffed into his pillows. Charlie turned on his side to face him, rubbing his back in circles as he turned to look at him, grabbing his phone, unlocking it, looking at his home screen "Mum?" "Yeah, sweetheart?" "Can I talk to you?" She nodded. Nick got up, walking out of his bedroom and downstairs to the living room.
Sarah sat next to her son who instantly curled up to her "What's been going on, Mon chéri?" "I just feel alone mum, last night I had to sleep at the right end of my bed as I think Charlie might not love me anymore." "Sweetheart, he loves you so much," "He doesn't mum, this morning when we were kissing, he didn't seem to enjoy it like he usually does." "Charlie, sweetheart?!" "Yeah?" "Come here please, my dear." Charlie walked downstairs, sitting next to Nick "Is everything going okay at home?" "Not really, my mum doesn't want me here, she's said it herself." "Oh, my love." He curled onto the sofa with his blanket around him, covering his whole body. Nick stood up, kneeling down, taking his blanket away from his face, stroking his face. Charlie sat up, moving away from him, pulling his blanket back over his face "Char, what's going on?" He shrugged "I understand that you had an argument with your mum, did that hurt you?" He looked Nick in the eyes, moving closer to him and nodded "Oh sweetheart, it's okay, come." He patted his lap as he moved, sitting down, facing him "I'm not going to ask you to talk about it to get you upset."
Charlie looked at Nick with teary vision as they started to drip down his face. Nick held him and let him cry into his chest as he calmed down "Better?" He nodded "Why don't we go upstairs, get dressed and sit in the garden for a bit?" "No." "You don't want to?" He nodded "That's okay, my love, we can go out another day?" "I'd like that." "Okay." Nick rubbed his back as he looked up at him "Charlie, can I ask you something?" He nodded "Do you have an eating disorder?" Charlie's breath quickened and nodded "Oh, sweetheart. Anorexia?" He nodded, slowly "I've seen you missing meals, eating very little and avoiding eating any foods. I also know that your making yourself sick." "I'm not, Nick, what the fuck?" He hissed, getting up from his lap, walking upstairs with his blanket, curling up on Nick's bed, under the duvet.
20 minutes later, Nick came upstairs to his bedroom, opening the door where Charlie was, curled up in a ball in bed "Sweetheart?" "Please fuck off." "It's my house, I am not fucking off. Why don't you fuck off and just leave if you want me to leave that bad." The brunette got up, getting dressed, grabbing his jacket "I'm not coming back for a while." He pulled his coat on, walking downstairs, pulling his shoes on, walking out.
A few hours later, Charlie came back, tears in his eyes, kicking off his shoes, running upstairs where Nick was, he laid next to him "Have you spoke to your mum?" He nodded "I explained to her but she wants nothing to do with it." "You're serious, right?" "I'm not joking." "Come here, my love." Nick pulled him into his arms as he cuddled into his chest. Nick took his jacket off, leaving it on the bed next to him, holding him in his arms "Are you tired?" "A bit, yeah." "No matter how bad things might become, tomorrow holds the best for us." "Yeah, it does." Charlie struggled with his belt. Nick moved his hands away, unbuckling his belt, taking it off, resting it next to his belt "Let's get you back in your pyjamas, sweet pea." He laid Charlie down, lifting his jumper over his head, getting him into his pyjamas. Charlie giggles when Nick playfully tickles his fingers around his torso. "Goodnight, Nick." "Goodnight, Char. Sweet dreams, baby." Nick whispers at Charlie's nape.
