A day later, Charlie had noticed Nick not in school, so he decided to walk to Nick's where Sarah Nelson opened the door 10 minutes later, but Charlie wasn't surprised "Hey Sarah. Is Nick here?" "Hi Charlie, he is, he's upstairs but he's not talking to anyone." "He hasn't called me or messaged me in a few hours since yesterday night. Can I talk to him?" "Go on." She opened the door and the brunette walked upstairs to Nick's room "Nick?" He turned over onto his side, not facing him "Charlie, go please." His voice quivered as hot tears ran down his face. Charlie sat on the bed, rubbing his back "You're burning up, Nick!" He exclaimed. Nick covered his ears "Too loud." "Is there anything I can do?" He shook his head slowly, turning slowly.
Charlie brought his head into his lap, stroking his dark blonde hair as the brunette heard a knock at the door "Mum, what is it?" Nick grumbled as she came in with a mug of warm honey and lemon "You have a cold?" "A really bad one, my nose produces too much snot." Charlie laughed, sitting against the other pillows next to Nick. Nick laid next to him, his head resting on his arm "Have you showered recently?" "Kept sneezing so no." "Get yourself up, have a warm shower and you can lie on me once your done." "Okay." Nick took a sip of his hot drink "Charlie, do you want anything?" "A tea's fine." "Alright." Nick got up, walking in the bathroom. Once he had a shower, he walked back to bed, getting dressed while Charlie was downstairs. He put his towel in the bathroom, making his way downstairs, wrapping his arms around Charlie's petite waist "Hey, feel better?" "So much better." "I'm glad." "I'm not well enough for you to kiss me with tongue so just normal kisses for now." "I'm okay with that."
Nick lifted him, setting him on the counter, standing between his legs, slipping his hand under his white shirt "No tickling!" He squealed, getting off, running upstairs. Nick grabbed a hold of his legs when he got upstairs, throwing him across his shoulders, lowering him on his bed when he got there. Charlie laid on his back, Nick on top of him "Want a cuddle?" "Why not." Nick laid his head on his boyfriend's chest. Charlie played with his hair as he felt him go heavy on him "Hey, are you asleep?" He curled up. Charlie looked down and saw his boyfriend fast asleep on top of him.
Later on, Charlie was walking upstairs with a cup of tea as the blonde started to stir. Charlie put his mug down and ran his fingers through his blonde hair. Nick looked up at him, nuzzling his nose in his chest and rubbed his eyes sleepily as he sat up on his bed, blinking blearily at his surroundings. He stretched his body to relieve the aches "Where'd you go?" "Only to get a drink." "You're out of your uniform." "I went home to change and came back." "Hey, umm Char?" "Yeah." "I was wondering if maybe tonight, me and you could try to go all the way." "Are you a top or a bottom?" "I don't know, we'll have to find out." "We will have to." Nick sat against his pillows, pulling Charlie into his lap, looking at him "Why are you staring at me?" "Because you're too cute." He said and Charlie blushed "Thank you." "It's okay, my sweet." Nick rubbed the small of his back with a warm smile on his face. Nick looked at him with a smile as Charlie looked back at him "So my darling, Charlie Spring, how would you feel about us going out?" "What about my parents?" "I'll let them know, okay?" He nodded "As the ice rinks are starting to leave, how about I take you to Canary Wharf, there's a beautiful inside ice rink there." "Sounds good."
Later in the evening, the two were on the train to Canary Wharf, Nick sitting in front of Charlie, their pinkies locked "If you ever want to leave at any point, we can and get the train home." "Nick, I'll be okay." "I hope so." The train came to a stop as the two got off, walking hand in hand to the ice rink "Do you want to get food first?" "Sure." The two walked to the nearest restaurant, holding hands and got seated quickly. Once the two had ordered, the blonde got up "I'll be back in a sec baby." He kissed his head, getting up and going to the bathroom. The waiter came over and put their food down before handing Charlie a napkin and putting the other on Nick's side, scowling as he did, winking at Charlie before leaving.
