Mina's POV
-" We might be able to find out who Liam wanted to take in the dark a couple of weeks ago at my house. All you have to do is talk to a girl named Madeline Harper. She has physics fourth period."
This was a text from Lorrie. I had completely forgotten about the situation that took place at her house a couple of weeks ago. I honestly couldn't careless at this point but I was curious so I decided to do it.
-"Gotcha" - I replied and headed to my locker. Third period was coming up. I still had plenty of time to think about how to approach her.
When I got to my locker, I put back all of my history books and tried to find my other notebook I needed. But without success.
I must have turned my whole locker upside down, when someone tapped me on the shoulder.
-"Need help?"
It was someone I didn't recognize. They were wearing a black hoodie and I couldn't see their face.
-"Sure...thanks. What's your name?"
-"What? Mina, it's me."
-"Wha- Tony?! You recovered?! That's grea-"
He covered my mouth. I suppose he didn't want anyone to know.
-"Let's talk somewhere a bit more private."- he whispered.
We went to the garden next to school and sat on a bench. There was no one else there, expect some couple that I couldn't really recognize.
-" Mina you have been nothing but a good friend to me. That's why I think you deserve to know the truth."
-"You're scaring me what are you-"
-" Ever since 9th grade me and Ally...we were "Xo and xo". "
My jaw dropped. "Xo and xo" was the most feared perso- people in the whole school. Every single student was worried of seeing their own name in the toilets or somewhere around school. However everything stopped around last year. Nobody knows why.
-*I- I have so many questions."
He took a deep breath.
-"Go ahead."
-"Why?"
-"At first we wanted to get revenge on all the mean popular people. And then-"
-"And then you thought it was fun to ruin not just theirs, but everyone's lives. Great."
He didn't say anything. He had nothing to say in his defense. However I wasn't finished.
-"Ok then. Why did you stop?"
-"Well... something happend."
I raised my eyebrow.
-"What?"
-"An accident. With me and Ally."
-"What accident, Tony?"
He didn't say anything. It was clear he had no intention of continuing whatsoever.
-"And you're telling me this because?"
-"Ally is not the person you think she is. She has a dark side to her. A bad side."
That was not possible. Ally was a sweetheart. She always cared about others. She was always kind to others.
-"Why should I believe you?"
....
-"Because she was the one to leak your secret..."
