Lorrie's POV:
Ally told me everything about Mina and Liam. Basically last week, when all the electricity at my house stopped, Liam dragged Mina to another room and they both flirted. Atleast that's what I know. However Liam told Ally that Mina wasn't the one he was meant to take. So who did he want to take? We were all curious so the three of us came up with a plan. And yes we did tell Mina about what Liam said. Of course we did. She was kinda upset but she said it's fine.
The plan was that I was going to flirt with him and see how he reacts. The reason I am doing this is because I'm simply the most confident out of the three. I don't really care if I get rejected by him. Plus we agreed that if he doesn't eventually flirt back, Mina would talk with him. She has chemistry with him today.
-"You girls ready?"- Ally said over the phone. We facetimed just before school to discuss the grand plan.
-"Just wanna say I love you but if anything goes wrong it's all your fault."- Mina stated.
We all laughed before eventually deciding it was time to head to school.
When I got there the three of us met at our usual place by our lockers. From a normal expression, Mina's face suddenly turned dead serious before adding:
-"But seriously, don't screw this up."
-"Mina chill, it's not that serious." - I implied. I was starting to get frustrated with her. Usually Ally is the one to freak out in situations like this, but she was more calm then ever.
Suddenly the bell rang. We had to get to class. I had maths first period and then English second period. That was the class that I had with Liam. And that was when I was going to shoot my shot.
English, second period, 9:45
I looked around and saw him. He was minding his own business, just casually looking out the window. Perfect. This was my chance. I sat next to him but he didn't seem to notice. He was zoned out. So I just tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and when he saw me he gave me a small smile.
-"Hi Lorrie. How are feeling?"
He has always been so sweet. Even before popularity.
-"I'm ok, thank you. Even better, now that i saw you."
He looked at me with a slight suprise. I admit I was kinda nervous. I impatiently waited to see how he would respond. But he didn't do anything. He just said:
-" Glad I could help." and laughed it off.
That means one thing. Last week Ally was the one he was supposed to take with him. I had to tell her about this. After class I got my phone out and texted in our group chat:
-" Mina you have to talk with Liam. I tried flirting with him but it didn't work. It must be Ally."
-" What kind of cheap rip off of "The Bachelor" is this?" - Mina replied jokingly.
-"I'm serious. We might be close to a breakthrough."
-"Fine I will." she said.
Ok I'll admit I might have taken the situation a little bit more serious than it actually was, but it was just getting interesting.
-" Great. Tell us what had happened afterwards."
-"I will. Byee."
-"Byee."
I put my phone down but before I could think I bumped into someone.
-"Oh my I'm so sorry-"
It was Beck. But he looked weird. His hair was messy, his shirt was unbuttoned. He also had a lot of hickeys on his neck. Gross. And in school?
-"Oh hi Beck. What happend to you? Shouldn't you be studying, tiger?"
-" Oh hi Lorrie. Sorry I bumped into you. I was just going to my next class. I'll see you around."
-" Oh ok see you." I said. When he passed me I noticed a familiar smell... Men's cologne? Wait...was Beck.....
