Lorrie's POV

I was having history, which was my last class for the day. I was half asleep and so was the teacher, when my phone buzzed.

-Liam is beating the shit out of Tony. Come. ASAP!! - This was a text from Ally.

I excused myself to go to the bathroom and started running. But then I stopped. Where was I supposed to go to?

-Mind telling me where?

-Behind school.

I started speeding and when I got there I saw two things: Tony bleeding on the ground, while Ally, who was crying her eyes out was holding him tightly and....Oh. Liam being held back by none other than Beck. Yeah that makes sense. He is really strong. Quite a lovely view - NO. Shut up.

-"What happend?"- I asked.

-"I'll tell you what happend..."- Liam stepped closer. He was very mad, making me feel intimidated. His tone was threatening and he had one of those sarcastic, mad smirks on his face. As if it was so ridiculous that he found it funny. - "I asked Ally on a date and she agreed to it. Next thing I know. Her and Tony are sticking their tongues into eachother's mouths."

I was really shocked. I never knew they had something going on. More importantly wasn't Tony gay?

I was about to open my mouth, when Beck interupted:

-"Liam snap out of it."

He pushed him back and then looked at me and added:

-"Lorrie, take Tony alongside Ally to the nurse. Me and Liam will have a little chat."

I nodded and helped Ally pick Tony up from the ground.

While we were walking to the nurse's office, I couldn't stop thinking about something. A small detail. Something so unimportant. And yet I couldn't get it out of my head.

Beck never called me by my actual name. As I already said he had a nickname for me - L, but there would be times where he would call me "gorgeous", "flower" and even "sunshine".

I was never a fan of cheesy "romantic" nicknames, but his ones felt so nice and so in place. They weren't sexualizing or extremely clingy. They were delicate and just perfect.

So with that being said. Why did he call me by my actual name? I had a weird feeling in my stomach. Sadness. I know I shouldn't get upset over such minor, unconvinient things but I was scared that my rejection yesterday pushed him away from me. That he had given up.

The nurse, as expected, was in pure shock when we walked in. However it wasn't the first time she had to deal with something like this so she knew exactly what to do. She made him lay on the couch in her office, while she bandages him and calls his parents.

She told us to go home and although it took some time for Ally to agree we finally left the school building. We were walking down the stairs, when her mum pulled in the driveway. I guess she had already called her. Ally hugged me for goodbye, got in the car and her mum drive away.

I got in my own car and was ready to drive off when it broke down. Great. Just great. The car was very, very old so it was not that surpising, but it managed to make my day even worse.

I layed my head back feeling hopeless. All I needed was silence for just a moment-

TAP TAP

Someone tapped on my car window. And it was Beck.

-"Can I get in?" - he said with a slight smile on his face.

I nodded. He circled the car and got in the front passenger seat.

-"Hey, L. How are you? "

-" Could have been better. You?"

-"Pretty much the same."

-"What did you tell Liam? I have never seen that side of him."

He was silent for a moment. Then he added:

-" You all three like Liam right? Well Ally was a lucky one indeed. But he caught her with Tony and- you have to understand Liam is very sensitive when it comes to relationships of any sort."

I was quiet for a brief moment.

-" Beck I do not like Liam. Not as much as I thought."

My words clearly surprised him. He just stared at me. And I was staring back. We were just looking at eachother, not saying anything.

Usually that would be the most awkward thing ever but...it wasn't. It felt right.

He then gently moved a strand of  hair from my forehead behind my ear. After that he slightly rubbed my cheek with his thumb.

-"I just wanted to make sure you're okay. But I will see you tomorrow, right?"

-"Yeah. Bye."- I said. It was all so complicated. I was skeptical of my feelings towards Liam. And more so I was confused about my feelings towards Beck, who, until now, I thought was the biggest jerk ever.

He got out of my car and just as he was about to leave I remembered about my car.

-"Wait! My car broke down. Do you happen to have come to school with your car by any chance?"

He just smirked at me.

...

Next thing I know I was on his MOTORCYCLE. And the best part was that I was holding him tight from behind. Both because I wanted to and because I was terrified.

He then dropped me off at my house.

-"Thank you, Beck."- I said.

He took off his helmet. His hair was pretty messy so I pat him on the head as a "bye" gesture.

-"See you tomorrow, L."- he said smiling.

-"See you."- I said smiling back.

I got in my house and just as I thought there would be no more worries in my head I suddenly remembered. Where was Mina? Why wasn't she at school? And most importantly why was she not answering her texts?
