Chapter 2: You're pretty good at this

Ally's POV
Long story short, the first day of school went pretty normal. I mean it was obviously horrible that summer ended and i definitely wasn't head over heels about the fact that I'm graduating this year. Actually I'm terrified.
But anyways that day i put on the navy blue school uniform and tried to add some spice to it. It was quite hard, because the uniform was SO boring, but i somehow managed. It is nearly effortless for me to make pretty outfits. That's why i want to be a fashion designer. I just LOVE clothes. I'm thinking of going to a fashion school in New York. It's gonna be hard to get in but I'm somehow gonna manage.

Back to the story i went to school, met Lorrie and a little later Mina. If you wonder who they are, they're the absolute best people on this planet. Lorrie is super interesting in general. She has her goals in life and she is not afraid to say what she thinks. She has a great talent for everything she does. She is also lovely and compassionate. And Mina is just a fresh energy. She is always smiling. She is very disciplined and sometimes really honest. She stands for what she believes is right and in general she is really kind and outgoing. They're my best best best friends. The only thing i keep from them is my source of information about the school gossip. But that is something that clears up later in the story.

So after we caught up on everything we've missed from eachother's lives, we had to head to our first classes of the year. I checked my program and- YES. Art class. We were up to a good start. I could atleast practice my designs. I walked in and- Beck. I hate this guy. He is just a pain in the ass. He hasn't actually done anything to me. I just don't like the way he behaves. But enough about Beck. As i traced my eyes across the classroom i didn't see anyone i knew expect- LIAM. Oh my god that man is just a daydream. But i would never be able to talk to him. I am too socially awkward. What's even worse though is that the only empty seat was the one next to HIM. I felt myself becoming bright red while gently sitting next to him. I don't wanna sound creepy but he smelled like flowers.

Suddenly my art teacher walked in. Mrs. Archie. She was young and also just really cool. She was covered in tattoos, had a couple of piercings and she had a really cool style. She was tall and had bright orange hair.
She gave us the assignment. We had to make a costume design and we each had
a particular character. I got Alice from Wonderland and started working right away. For moment i even forgot i was sitting next to Liam. I would honestly never admit i like him to Lorrie and Mina though. I feel like they like him too and I don't want to ruin our friendship. But oh boy is he perfect. No! I have to focus. I started drawing. Around the end of class i heard a deep voice next to me.
-"You're pretty good at this."
-"Thanks I guess"- i said sounding annoyed. I DON'T KNOW I FREAKED OUT. Poor guy looked so confused.
-"Do you have a problem with me?"- he asked.
-"Why would i have a problem with you?"- i asked still sounding annoyed.
-"I was just being nice damn"- he said kinda angry.
-"Ah I'm sorry. I don't really know how to act in social situations."- i said giving him a small smile, trying to mask the situation.

-"No worries. You're Ally right?"
-"Oh yeah. And you're Liam?" HE.KNOWS.MY.NAME. SOMEBODY PINCH ME.
The bell rang and everyone started packing.
-"I guess I'll see you around Ally."- he said slightly smirking.

-"See you uh...Liam." that's the only thing i could mumble from the genuine shock i had.
He was about to leave but then it looked like he remembered something.

-"Oh by the way. I'm having a huge party this Saturday. You know because of the start of the year. Come if you want. You can also invite anyone you want."

-"I'll be there thanks."- I said.

And he left. It's absurd how quickly you can become popular just by changing your looks. Highschool is a strange place indeed. But there was no way I'm missing this party. I can't wait to tell Lorrie and Mina. They're definitely coming with me.
After school i met up with them at "our" coffee house. We met there after school ever since i can remember. I had to break the news.....
