Chapter 10: Truth

Mina's POV
Our meeting at Nancy's where I was supposed to tell them that Beck was gay and him and Tony were seeing eachother got cancelled.TWICE. And now suddenly Lorrie likes Beck. How worse can it get? And plus didn't she like Liam?

And do I mention it now? No. I can't bring myself to tell her. Actually now that I mentioned it I have a better idea.

We watched three episodes of Bridgerton, season 2 and then they had to go home.
When we were at the front door, they stepped outside, ready to leave. We hugged for goodbye and right before I closed the door I said:

-"Oh by the way! Beck is gay and he is dating Tony and I heard them kissing in the bathroom and I'm sorry cause I know you like him so please don't be sad. Alright, love you byee!"- I said that so fast I wasn't sure she even heard. But by the surprised face she made it was clear she did.

"Wha-" - and I closed the door. Phew! Everything fixed. Time to go eat ice cream and celebrate how good of a friend i am-

KNOCK KNOCK

Oh no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Ok stay calm. Just don't answer. They will think you're in the shower-

TAP TAP

I turned around to see Lorrie tapping on the window. She clearly saw me. Oh fuck.

-"MINA WHAT THE FUCK?!" - I could hear her scream outside the window.

I knew I couldn't back out of this. Feeling defeated I opened the door.

-"Well finally" - Lorrie said rolling her eyes.- "Now...mind explaining?"

Why mee??? I don't want to do this.

-"Ok you might wanna sit down."

We went upstairs to my room. Lorrie and Ally sat on my bed and I sat on the armchair infront of them.

-"Basically I accidentally went into the boys' bathroom. And I heard in the cabin next to me kissing sounds and then Beck and Tony's voices."-  I tried giving the shortest explaination possible. I didn't want to deal with this right now.

-"How can you be so sure it's their voices?" - Ally asked.

-" I'm sure of it. Really."

It was silent for a couple of seconds before Lorrie eventually shared an idea:

-" I will text him that I want to get to know him better. I'll just ask a couple of random questions before eventually asking him about his sexuality."

Me and Ally agreed. It was probably the safest way to find out. Lorrie pulled out her phone and started texting him. After a couple of minutes of hearing her fingers tapping the screen she finally said:

-"Guys I'm sending the question. Wish me luck."

And she sent it. Half a minute went by and he finally replied. Lorrie screamed out of relief.

-"Guys! He is bisexual!"

That made sense. But wait a minute.

-" What about Tony? If Beck sent you flowers what does that mean about them?"

-"They were from Liam."- Lorrie reminded me.

-"Oh please. He might annoy me to my core but I still grew up with him. And I know him well.  Once he did the same thing with another girl when he got rejected." - I replied. It's true. Beck lives two minutes away from here. He was just always around.

Lorrie thought about it for a while. She was about to say something when my phone buzzed and it was Tony.

-My father is in prison right now. I really need someone to talk to.

I felt really bad for him. But wait a second-

-Do you have a picture of him?

-What the actual fuck? Is that truly your response?!

-I'm sorry. We will talk about this later, cause I can't right now. But the thing with the picture is really important.

-Damn you, dickhead. I'll search to see if I have any.

A minute went by and I finally got a notification. At that time Lorrie and Ally were just standing there quiet.

Tony managed to find a photo after all. I texted him one last thing.

-Thank you so much. Also, hope you are feeling better. Love you, byee.

I opened the photo and showed it to Ally.

-"Was this the man that attacked you?"

She looked at the photo and then looked at me shocked and confused.

-"Yes..Where did you get this?"

-"This is......this is Tony's dad...."
