Isabela mae
I ran back into the building. I had cut off the bottom of my dress. Thank god I learnt how to run in heals. There was some of David's men still in there. They were walking around with their guns and weapons. All I needed was a hand gun. I walked over to one of them, stealthily.
I reached into his pocket and took the hand gun without him noticing. After that I sneaked over to the door that I ran from. I didn't know where the bomb was, so I was acting purely on a gut feeling. I walked into the room and looked over at the bodies of the two women I just shot dead. I placed my gun on the ground and walked over to the blond girl and took of her mask. In looked straight into her lifeless eyes. Thankfully, I took one of the spare phones from in the car and I took a picture of the woman. I hoped that maybe someone could be able to recognise her. I did the same to the readhead.
I turned around to look at the blond girl again, maybe check her for weapons, but she was gone. Her body was gone. I rushed over to where her body once was. I heard a swift swooping sound from behind me and the redhead was gone too. I saw a shadow creeping around behind me.
"Well, well, well," someone's voice said. "Who do we have here?"
The person came into light. I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Little Isabela Nikolaev," it was Robin. "Or should I say, Isabela Marchetti?" He looked to the ring on my finger. "Oh yeah that's right, you haven't had the wedding yet have you." "I hope I get and invite." He joked.
"Your supposed to be dead," I said.
"Oh sweetheart," he stepped forward. "You can't get rid of me that easily." He winked.
"But I killed you, I saw you dead." I said.
"Darling, darling, I have been killed many times," he said, putting a certain emphasis on the word 'killed'. "But I always make it out alive."
"How do you do it?" I asked. I was getting a little impatient. I knew he was stalling me.
"Well, I have a brilliant doctor," he said. "Doctor Gauntlett, best in the business."
He said it as if it were an advertisement or something. But the name 'Gauntlett' did ring a bell, but I didn't think it could be the right bell.
"What are you doing here?" I asked. "They thought you were dead." I was referring to the girls who's bodies were laying on the floor.
"I know they did," he said plainly. "You did me a favor actually," he said. "The only person who knows that I'm alive, except you of course, is the swans leader." He told me. I stood there and wasn't sure if I believed what he was saying. "She and I have always had something special," he creeped his way forward. I backed up all the way against the wall. He placed his hand on my chin.
A shiver ran down my spine at his touch. He got very close to my ear. He breathed deeply, his warm breath gave me tingles.
"Nothing like what we had though," he whispered. My eyes fluttered closed for a moment when his hand met my waist. Suddenly, I snapped back to my senses and forced my fist into his stomach and kneed him in the crotch. He pulled away and groaned.
"You bitch," he said, clinging to his crotch.
"Yeah," I said. "There's plenty more where that came from." I hissed.
"Isabela," he said softly. "You can't possibly be thinking what your thinking." He saw me glance towards the gun at my feet.
"I think what I think," I picked up the gun and aimed it at him. "It has nothing to do with you,"
"Your not going to shoot me are you?" He looked me in the eyes. There was a slight hint of begging in his voice.
"It was stupid of you to come here," I said. "There's men surrounding this building, any of them see you, they will open fire without hesitation."
"Are you gonna shoot me?"
"No," I said.
He smiled.
"I'm gonna take you out to the car, and back to a cell in the Marchetti building." His face dropped.
"Your not serious," he said.
"I don't joke,"
