chapter 30. Bianca

"Oh my god, I dont think I can take much more of this." Lucus yelled out over the top of screaming kids.

"Oh come on, just one more go on the big slide." Mia drags Lucus off.

"Tell him Davey, say we want slide? We want slide? " Mia encourages David to chant with her.

"Fine, let's go." Lucus huffs.

"I dont think Lucus is enjoying this much." I laugh to Ryder.

"Can you tell? Come on let's meet them at the bottom I want photos." Ryder grabs his camera.

We're spent the last two hours running around a soft play area, with excited screaming children causing chaos everywhere, Mia is absolutely besotted with David, she even got her own little nickname for him.

As we stand at the bottom of the bright red 20ft death slide, I notice how happy David is, climbing onto Mia lap, while Lucus takes the other seat, we  watch them push off to the bottom while David just holds on to Mia for dear life. 

As soon as he gets up his running to go again, climbing through the jungle gym, the dessert ball pit, and final to the yellow tunnel slide, sliding down so fast that his little body falls knee deep into all the balls struggling to get out.

"Mee,Mee, again?" David pulls her along with him.

"Last go Mr, we have to go and get some lunch and I think poor old uncle Lucus is exhausted." I said looking to Lucus who's collapsed on a chair.

"Are you coming to get food with us bro?" Ryder asked Lucus.

"We have plans with Mia sister this afternoon, but if your free this evening let's meet up and go to The Old Bank like old times?" Said Lucus.

"Yeah why not,mum is having David this evening so yeah we might aswell before we head back to London tomorrow. " Ryder organises times as me and David say goodbye to Mia.

Sitting in a little burger joint David tucks into his kids cheese burger meal while me and Ryder decided on cheese and bacon burger with a side of fries and onion rings to share.

"He is going to fall asleep any minute, look at him, his like a nodding dog." I tap Ryders arm to get his attention.

"Yeah his had a full on day, how about I'll go grab the car and try and park closer to here so he hasn't got to walk as far?" Ryder finishes his last bite of his burger.

"Ok." A few minutes after Ryder left, I pick David into my arms and leave hoping Ryder wont be too long.

Walking a little way down the road towards the car park, too preoccupied struggling to carry David, I didnt notice the man coming towards me until it was too late and bang, I bump into his shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, I couldn't see where I was going with him on me. Sorry again." I look up at the figure in front if me.

"Bianca? "

"Josh." I said. Josh still looked the same maybe a little broader on top, his hair longer with the curly waves at the ends, however his eyes looked withdrawn, tired, black bags under them. "Wow, sorry about that. How have you been? " I havent spoke to Josh since that showdown in the halls of university where he decided to embrass me, looking at him now I dont hate him for what he and Sophie put me through if anything they made me stronger.

"Yeah I'm  ok dealing with life and having a child. What are you doing back in Manchester?" Josh now looks  between me and David.

"Just hear visiting family for a few days. I live in London now, have for the last year or so." I smiled trying to not give to much away.
