Months later, Kie remarried to Muzan Kibusuji, soon enough Muzan and his two children moved in with the family.

One day, Kie was getting ready to head to the village.

"I'll be back soon." She said. "Is there anything you kids want me to bring back?"

"I'd like a pearl necklace please." Yahaba said.

"I'd love a new ball to play with!" Susamaru added.

"A small snack treat." Nezuko said.

"I just want a Hayzel twig mother." Tanjiro replied in his usuall kind voice.

Kie giggled. "Alright then. I'll be back." She before leaving the house.

The siblings went to go do thier own things, except for Tanjiro, who walked into the kitchen to find Muzan sittimg on the dinning table.

As Tanjiro walked by Muzan "accidentally" dropped the glass cup of water.

"Ara ara!" Muzan said.

"What happened?!" Tanjiro asked, turning around as so as he heard the crash.

"I accidently dropped my glass of water. You mind being a dear and cleaning it up?" Muzan asked.

"Yes, of course." Tanjiro replied, getting the supplies to clean up the spilled water and broken glass.

"Arigato." Muzan thanked. Secretly smiled evily.

Hours later have gone by and Kie had just arrived home with the small gifts.

"I'm home." Kie said with a warm smile.

"Mom!" Nezuko exclaimed happily.

"I got you all what you asked for." Kie stated, giving her and her stepkids thier treats.

"Ara ara!" Yahaba said with a smile. "Arigato, Kie."

Kie giggled.

"Oh! Wow! My ball! I can play with outside!" Susamaru thanked.

"Thanks for my snack mom!" Nezuko cheerly thanked her mother.

"Thanks mom." Tanjiro thanked, gently as he took the Hayzel Twig. "I'm gonna go see dad."

"Alright just Don't be late for dinner." Kie said.

"Alright." Tanjiro replied, before heading outside and walking towards his dad's grave which is only a couple minutes away from his home.

Tanjiro planted the Hayzel twig on top of his dad's grave. "I miss you dad." He said in sorrow.

Tanjiro began to cry, and as he did the Hayzel twig began to grow slowly.

Once Tanjiro had wiped his tears away. He saw the twig little by little growing.

He smiled before standing up turning away to head home.
