Nevertheless - A Jenlisa Story

Chapter 8

Lisa took two hours to get dressed.
Not because it was a particularly refined outfit but because she wanted to look perfect and at the top of her game: the anniversary party organized by YG was an important occasion for them and she wanted to attract Jennie's attention. Now that she could admit it to herself she felt lighter.
She had decided that since her attempt to get away from the brunette had yielded bad results, this time she would take Rosé's advice and try to live the situation in a more carefree way.

She decided to dress in a pair of jeans woven at the sides that would highlight her legs and a shirt with one shoulder uncovered that she thought would enhance her slender and lean form.
Completing the outfit was hair pulled back into a long tail, simple dangling earrings and light makeup.

"You're always the last Lisaya, I hope at least the wait was worth it."

Jisoo as always resented that she was always late.
As soon as she entered the living room she was filled with a sense of insecurity that vanished the moment she saw Jennie's gaze on her.
The brunette had looked up from her cell phone in an indifferent way but now that it was on her it was something.
She saw her hands gripping the phone more tightly and a slight blush crossed her face as her eyes followed the line of her bare legs that could be glimpsed beyond the weave of her pants, her lips were open almost in surprise.
Jennie was completely absorbed in staring at her until she was awakened by Rosé's screams.

"Lisaaaaaa you look so good!"

Lisa was surrounded by Rosé's arms and couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't touch me you'll ruin my makeup."

"But you look so beautiful how can I not touch you! I defy anyone tonight not to feel like it" winked Rosè.

Lisa let out a big laugh and saw Jennie who had remained motionless staring at her in the same position as before, now just a little twinkle in her eye that she was having trouble interpreting.

"With Lisa looking so beautiful and Jennie looking so hot, you and I unnie may as well not go to the party tonight."

"Hey speak for yourself, I look great too."

Jisoo pretended to be displeased and pouted only to get Rosé to hug her back for forgiveness.

At that moment Jennie stood up from her chair and showed herself in her fullness.
She was wearing tight black long pants and a long unbuttoned top that left her hips exposed and enhanced her undeniably sexy shape.
Lisa's throat went dry as soon as she saw her walking towards her: her long dark hair loose over her shoulders as she held her gaze.

"We all look beautiful tonight. Shall we?"

Jennie's tone was calm and deep and after a brief nod to Jisoo and Rosé her gaze returned to Lisa standing in front of her.
Lisa felt her own legs shaking.

The car ride was quite fast.
Jisoo and Rosè, as always, filled the car with words and laughter while Lisa and Jennie occasionally joined in the conversation, even if they were distracted.
Lisa couldn't take her eyes off Jennie and the brunette seemed to have the same problem.
Lisa felt Jennie's gaze on her as never before and Lisa wasn't afraid to reciprocate it with the same intensity: that outfit seemed made especially for her and the light makeup on her face enhanced Jennie's natural beauty.

The other two girls fortunately didn't seem to notice, taken as they were by their arguments.

"Who do you think will be there tonight?"

"There will definitely be all the staff and dancers then my guess is that Seulgi and Irene will be there...maybe some guys."

"I can't wait to get there! It's the first time that YG organizes a party like this for us".
