After that evening they committed themselves to maintaining a balance so that such situations would never happen again. A few simple fixed points to keep themselves sane and prevent fears from taking over again: 1) at least three kisses a day, no matter where they were or what they were doing, they would find a way, 2) no matter what time they came home or woke up in the morning they would sleep next to each other.
The days were always hectic and busy but, thanks in part to Jisoo and Rosé who seemed to have perpetual meetings with sponsors that kept them away from home every day and evening, they managed to carve out time together to tell each other about their day or for other activities.
Being together had restored enthusiasm to the relationship and Bonny's offer had only increased their happiness, making them euphoric at times. Not that the relationship had ever been extinguished of course, quite the contrary, but if before the forcibly subdued fire had caused anger and frustration to flare up, now it was back to igniting the skin and tickling the heart.
"Finally I see you relaxed" Rosé had just entered the house finding a smiling Lisa welcoming her. "And finally you don't have your cellphone in your hand, lately it was hard to even look at your face"
Lisa smiled even more and hugged her with transport "I missed you" earning a smug giggle from her friend.
She felt so happy that she wanted to tell her everything, about Bonny and his offer, but Jennie wanted all four of them there to best explain the situation and the huge opportunity the man had offered them so she bit her lip and said nothing.
"I made up with Jennie," she merely said.
"Ah! So I was right about you two fighting" She said with some satisfaction "And I was right to force Jisoo to come with me to Alice's. She didn't want to, you know? She was convinced that left alone you would break her rules."
Oh my, the rules.
Lisa's eyes widened as she reviewed all the times they had broken them in the last few days alone and she felt herself suddenly blush.
"What? No!...W-we don't do it... i mean, we don't broke them... we don't do anyth-"
Lisa's awkward babbling in an effort to disguise the truth was interrupted by Rosé's laughter. It was so affectionate that it gave warmth to the whole room and Lisa realised how much she had missed her.
"Don't worry, Lis. I won't tell her," Rosè continued to laugh amusedly and gave her a knowing wink.
Lisa felt immediately relieved. She had completely forgotten Jisoo's rules, but would challenge anyone to remember them when Jennie's velvety voice invited her to share the shower.
"Tonight we order fried chicken and you tell me everything that happened." Said Rosé then added "Your head is so empty that things surely rumbled sounding gigantic."
"Hey!" she tried to reply by being offended but couldn't hold back a smile.
She had really missed her.

They were sitting on the floor in the living room laughing their heads off when Lisa heard the front door open and saw Jennie enter.
"Welcome home! How was dinner?" asked Rosé excitedly.
"The usual... lots of people and lots of words," she replied in a sluggish tone, taking a few steps towards the other girls. "Fried chicken and juice? Nice pairing," she said wryly as she took the bottles left on the coffee table in her hands.
Lisa stood silently watching her when she saw a small sweet smile blossom on her tired face.
"Nini, you're so beautiful" escaped her lips heedless of Rosé's presence.
