Rohan

She said it! She said thank you! Which means she did notice the fact that I fought the goons for her! I was beyond happy right now that I could literally jump up and start doing a happy dance!

While the flight attendant stood in front of the aisle giving us instructions of what to do in case of an emergency I just stared into space and started imagining what Ria and I might do in Dubai.

I got so caught up in day dreaming that I didn't even realise that I plane began to move and I still hadn't put my seatbelt on. Ria shook me out of my imaginary world and got me to put my seatbelt on. I really hated the takeoff and landing of flights, it always gave me a funny and uncomfortable feeling in the tummy.

Once we were off and away Ria got her laptop out, plugged herself into her music and begin typing something. Then there was me. I had my laptop with me, but I'd completed all the work. I had music with me but didn't feel like listening to it. I was on cloud nine that I could even sing my own song to Ria just like they do in Bollywood movies, but I wasn't going to do that because then I'd make a fool out of myself. So instead, I just closed my eyes and drifted into the world of dreams.

I dreamt of Ria and I dancing by the pyramids - although I don't know if Dubai had pyramids, oh well, this was the world of dreams it really doesn't matter. I swear at one point, I also dreamt of her saying 'I love you' to me. I dreamt of taking her up Burj Kalifa - The tallest building in the world - but since she was scared of heights she started shaking me and hugging me. Oh wait. That isn't a dream! She was actually shaking me while sitting beside me on the flight. I opened my eyes with a shock.

"Wh-what happened?" I asked.

"The pl-pl-plane's shaking really badly." Oh no. She was scared of turbulence. Wait! That's great news. I can hug her now. A grin grew across my face at the thought of that. "Rohan! I'm afraid of turbulence!"

"Oh. Umm. Come here." I lifted the hand rest between us and slid over to her side of the seat and wrapped my arms around her. "It's ok, I'm here." She got cosy in my arms and I could feel butterflies rising in my tummy.

Ria

He was hugging me. He. Was. Hugging. Me. Rohan Sharma was hugging me! I don't know how many times I would have to say that to process it in my mind. I took upon the opportunity and got cosy in his arms. I felt bad, I mean he does have a girlfriend and I shouldn't really be doing this, but no one is going to know about this are they? No. So why not? I lay there in his arms for I don't know how long, I didn't even realise that I fell asleep and had already begun dreaming about him.

I dreamt of Rohan and me strolling around Dubai, hand in hand. I dreamt of us eating Ice-cream beside the shore - yes, Ice-cream, don't judge! I even dreamt of him saying 'I love you' to me. Ok, that was a bit too much.

"Excuse me ma'am; sir" I heard a soft whisper and then a soft shake. I slowly opened my eyes but couldn't move my head. Something heaver was on my head. Rohan. His head was resting on mine, he looked as if he was in a deep sleep and was softly blowing on my head. I slowly lifted my head up and his fell to my shoulder.

"Yes?" I asked, half awake.

"We're about to land. Would you mind putting on your seatbelt and also sir's?" The flight attendant asked.

"Sure." I smiled at her and she left.

"Rohan." I whispered to him. No answer. He was still breathing softly. "Rohan!" This time shaking him.

"Wha-what? Is there more turbulence? Come here." He pulled me closer to him without even opening his eyes.

"NO!" I pushed away from him.

"What is it then?" He said rubbing his eyes.

"We're about to land, so put your seatbelt on." I said while putting mine on.

"Oh, we're here?" he asked.

"Duh!" I sassed back. I put the hand rest down in between us. It kind of hurt to put it down. It just proved that no matter what happens there will always be a line between us.

The flight began going down. It suddenly jolted down. My hand was on the hand rest and could feel Rohan's on top of mine as the flight jolted down. His grip tightened as it kept going down. I turned to look at him. His eyes were tightly shut and looked really uncomfortable. He was sitting up tightly in his chair.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah. I just hate take offs and landings. They give me funny feelings in the tummy and it's really uncomfortable." He answered.

I smiled, "You know what? I used to have the same problems but then my mum gave me a trick."

"Really? What?" he asked.

"Take a deep breath in and out. Keep doing it until we land. You'll be fine." Saying that he began taking in deep breaths and letting them go. It looked like he was doing yoga on a flight, but as long as it kept him calm it was ok. I didn't know if that trick even worked, I just said it so he'd keep calm, which it did.

Rohan

I don't know when I fell asleep on Ria but it sure felt nice. But, the landing really got me screwed up. It was worse than the take off. I did as Ria said, but it wasn't helping at all. I think she only said that to keep me calm so I just continued on making it look like it was helping.

We were finally down and I could let out a sigh of relief and relax.

Everyone got out of their seats and started rushing for the exits.

"Rohan get up! Let's go!" Ria got up. I pulled her back down.

"Sit! I ordered.

"But Rohan there's going to be a line by customs!" She argued back.

"No there won't be." I said.

"And how can you be so sure?" She asked.

"I'm the CEO of the year, do you not think that that get priorities? Plus if we go now we'd have to wait in line more, so let all this cool down then we'll leave." I explained to her.

"Urgh!" she slouched back into her seat.

A couple of minutes later once the crowd got less we got up and I passed her, her bags from the lockers above and strolled out of the plane. Unlike all the other passengers - since we were after all VIPs - we went to the right once we got out of the tunnel thing.

There were only a couple of other people by where we ended up at so we cleared the customs in no time. Ria seemed happy about this.

We headed out of the arrivals and there a man in a white kurta stood with our company's name on a board.

"Hi, that's us." We went up to him and I said.

"Oh, good, good. Come on, let's go." He said and got our trolley and walked towards to the exit. Ria and I followed behind.

As we got out of the airport, Ria said, "Welcome to Dubai." I smiled and pulled her towards the taxi where the guy was loading our luggage.
