Chapter - 6 (The day continue)

I heard the sound of the bell ringing, as the murmuring of the students filled the room , I inadvertently glanced at the grumpy stranger who seem to pay no heed to anyone in her surrounding as she glance down at her phone with a headphone on her head.

Feeling my gaze she turn and our eyes met, her eye bore into mine as she looked at me openly with no change in her expression . Embarrassed being caught staring I shift my line of sight and fiddle with my hand uncomfortably , as I continue to feel her burning gaze on me.
, " Hi! May I sit here? " I've never answer a question faster than that, just anything that would pull me out of this embarassing situation, anything .

The girl settled next to me, as I feel the stranger retracting her gaze. I secretly glanced at her, but just a short while, scared of being caught again.

After the girl finished sitting, a middle aged woman walk in wearing a gentle smile in her face, she pushed up her glass and keep the books in her hand on the table, " Okay! Class today I would like to introduce a new student to you. " the whole class quite down, as they give her their full attention.

, " Miss, please come out and introduce yourself. " she direct her whole attention at me while saying that, I walk out of my seat and stand before the class, and give a short introduction, " Hi ! My name is Ellina Sidra, hope we get along well. " I cast a casual glance around as I found that Rue had looked outside, her face show she had no interest in what was going whatsoever , I wonder if she even heard me. I shake my head , why should I worry about that?," Okay! Thank you Miss Ellina, " I walked back to my seat, feeling the can't help but feel a tinge of disappointment and a little lost.

, "I'm Jess! " the girl who sit next to me introduce herself, as I shake her extended hand.

, " Hi, Nice to meet you. " I reply back with a smile.

, " Now, I hope you will help Ellina as she is a new student, make her feel comfortable and be friendly to her . " despite her uptight and strict look, she seem fairly sweet and easy going. But, my judgement could have never been more wrong.

, " Now, class turn your book to page 50 !".

," Let me warn you gurl, Miss Mary is the worst, she is literally the devil so be careful. " jess whisper secretly .

, " What could be so bad? " I whisper back with a small smile.

, " Ohhh.. You will know it soon enough. " with a meaningful look on her face.

After the class *

I lay on the desk, exhausted " Told you so" Jess commented , as she take out her book for the next class.

, " I don't think she would be that bad! She was so scary,I feel as if she was a ticking bomb! " I complain, we have gotten a lot closer, during class. Jess is a fairly kind and talkative person , which make me more comfortable around her.

Lunch*

, " Let's go! " Jess urged me ," Wait! I'm doing it as fast as I can! " it's amazing how you could become stranger to friend so quickly.

She take my hand as she lead us to the cafeteria , " Don't buy the eggs, they are th worse " she said as she make a vomiting face, " I strongly advice for you to bring lunch box. " she said as we enter the cafeteria, " Let's buy sandwich, even though not the best they are bearable. " she lead us to the table and we both settle down.

, " Anyway, why did you transfer here? " she asked taking a bite of her sandwich, " Grandma need a companion, " the shortest way to say it is like that, " Miss your previous school? " , " Kinda yes, "

, " Looked over there, " she whisper motioning me towards the entrance of the cafeteria, a blonde with blue eyes walked in wearing a crop top I don't think it's correct being called crop top it's more like a bra or something, with a very short tight skirt that barely cover her butt, if I wear that in my previous school I don't even want to imagine my fate.

She looked really beautiful in it but it's more of an attire to club or some party, but it's her life her choice. I'm kinda of conservative so what may seem like a lot to me Or exposing might be nothing to other people.

, " Your school is really... " I try search for a fitting word , " Open? " Jess continue for me," Not the exact word I want to say but yeah kinda like that. "

, " I guess so, I was really surprised about it at first but got used to it. " she say no longer eating the sandwich, " I wonder how you could eat that, " Jess asked supporting her face with her hand, waiting for me.

, " I don't like it either. " I take another bite of the dry and dull tasting sandwich again, I can only taste sauce , I swallowed it with difficulty.

, " So, why do you continue to eat it? " she asked me again.

, " Cause I hate wasting food? " growing up I've always been told to be grateful for having food , not be disrespectful and wasteful of food. So, it had been integrated in me and it had become a habit mot to waste food.

, " Let's go to the bathroom, I want to wash my hand. " I said getting up wiping my hand with the tissue.

Third person's P. O. V

Ellina hold Jess hand and exit the cafeteria unaware of the gaze that follow her, " Rue! " hearing Jules's voice Rue turn her gaze and direct her attention at her, " Yes?? " , " Let's go to Kyle's party tonight " she said with a smile on her face as she wave at the girl in yellow who was waving at her , " I don't have time " she reply uninterested, " Please let's go it will be fun" Jule reach Rue hand and hold it as she urge her, " How about a no? " was Rue's reply, which make Jule face dropped in disappointment, " Rue let's go, please, " she teasingly leaned closer, as Rue just let her be.

After, lots of persuasion Rue cave in as always .

, " Yes! Get ready fast and i will come to your house, " Rue just nodded , Chris sit next to them as she whisper something to Jules , which make her eyes widen in shock.

Rue's eyes looked towards the entrance completely uninterested in their conversation , her eyes wander even if there is low possiblility but found that she was no longer there, it was expected but......
