Chapter - 18 ( What would you want? )

Third Person's P. O. V

On the quiet night only the sound of the paper being pick up and the pencil scratching against it was heard with steady breath of two people.

Rue yawn tiredly, she looked over at Ellina who rubbed her eyes cutely , she blink several time feeling her eyes a little dry. Rue completely abandoned her worked and watch her hitting her pen against the table repeatedly.

They are currently studying for the test tomorrow, thay haven't talked about the day when Ellina was crying , the problem or the cause of it but she won't ask.

Ellina was completely unaware of her gaze, her full attention on the paper . It's already 12 : 00 a. m, they are now in Ellina's house right now .

Finally, Ellina put down the pen after solving the last question. She hope she will do well, she rubbed her face feeling a little weary , her eyes feel dry and every blink was super loud to her and it was starting to get irritating .

, " Tired? " a voice asked, " I'm fine. " Ellina slumped down on the table, her back hurt.

, " Why are you always pushing yourself? " Rue asked looking at the tired Ellina.

, " For my future, so i could have a better future. " Ellina reply while yawning.

Rue study her body carefully, " Ellina then what would you like your future to be? " curiosity getting the best of her.

, " My future?? " Ellina repeat lowly.

, " Well, I don't want much. Just a simple home on the outskirts of the town near a small lake surrounded by maple trees with flowers surrounding the house. A wood fencing around the lake with grapes being planted and using the fencing as support. It would be great if there was a willow and wisteria, a beautiful and quiet place where I would spend the days with a certain someone . I will have a decent job , work hard and continues to explore the world." my plan was as simple as that, I don't asked for anything more. But, liking you was never a part of my plan.

Your appearance is what disrupt what I've planned for a long time, what sent my world into turmoil and my heart into frenzy. You who will never be mine.

, " What about you? " Ellina asked back

I want to make what you dream of come true, she instinctively think that Ellina will not fancy her words, so she change her answer.

, " I've never really thought about it? " Rue answer with uncertainity. She definitely didn't think about any of what her future will be , she just go with the flow. But , she knows now that she want to make those dream of hers come true. She wants to be there with her.

, " Maybe you will know the answer to this . " Ellina asked cautiously. Rue nodded encouragingly for her to continue.

Suddenly Ellina find it hard to open her mouth to asked," Am.....," in the future that you see will I be there? Do you see me still being here after years? That's what she wanted to asked but her voice trail off ,her courage was extinguished . She didn't want to bet what she had now, just be quiet and let it be the way it is.

, " What? " Ellina shook her head to Rue question, " Nothing. "

, " What would you want in your future spouse? " Her eyes in that moment were so serious that Ellina was baffled, so serious like her life depends on it.

, " I .. " Ellina really don't know the answer that, what would she want? She never really think about it, and think something like love will come naturally . Maybe , we'll talk after that. Just like how I like you, if I there was a choice I would never thought we would be here in my house talking together calmly, neither would I want it. But, look at us now.
