Everything Has Changed

Y/N could feel gentle hands caressing her left arm. She felt some kind cloth dabbing at a scratch on her forehead. She was also absolutely bewildered by the fact that she hear better then she ever could in her life. There were also so many new smells. She was almost scared to open her eyes. What happened and where was she? She tentatively cracked one eye open and was relieved to see her friend Jin looking down at her. Wait a minute! Why was she in Jin cage? She had always had a separate cage. Why the sudden change? She went to sit up but found that her body felt heavy. As if she had run a marathon or did a heavy work out the gym.

Oh yea the testing today had been horrendous she would likely be feeling this for a while. She sighed at least hey would leave heralded while she recovered.

"You're awake! Oh thank goodness! We were so worried about you. You were unconscious for so long this time Y/N." The raccoon hybrid had a dazzling smile on his face. Y/N had always thought he was blindingly handsome all of them were but this time was different. He smelled SO good! She had never noticed his scent before, and without thinking about it she leaned closer. Before she knew she was in Jin's lap with her face in his neck. The sound of the others cooing at her brought back to reality. Her face was red with embarrassment. How could she crawl into his lap like that where were her manners? " Oh my Jin, I'm so sorry. I don't know what I was thinking." She blabbed while Jin chuckled at her flustered appearance. Right as she was about to apologize again, Hobi wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug. I have been waiting for he day when I could do this" he said with glee. Her heart rate kicked up. Something wasn't right. He too smelled so good, but there was also something dangerous in his scent. She didn't know what it was but that underlying scent sent chills down her spine, she stiffened in his hold.

"Hobi, let her go" said a voice Y/N recognized as belonging to Jungkook. "She must be overwhelmed. You stink of a predator." Y/N was becoming confused. Why was she acting like this? Of course he stinks of a predator, he is a predator. He is a coyote for goodness sake. He's her friend, she shouldn't be scared, but she was. Terrified. A voice screaming in her head for her to get away to flee from the predator. She raked her fingers through her hair, it was then she noticed something different. Something in her hair that WAS NOT hair. She wrapped one hand around the object and gently pulled it forward. What. The. Hell. Her face frozen horror. Had they succeeded? After all this time she now had bunny ears......not human?

The 3 hybrids moved towards her sensing she was upset and frightened. The sounds, the smells, predator, predator. "Oh God, make it stop" She screeched. Just like that she felt a strange sensation as if she were shrinking. Her bones were cracking and popping, and before she knew it she was now staring straight up at 3 much much larger hybrids. She opened her mouth to shriek in terror only for it to come out as a terrified squeak. She was a frigging bunny and she felt vulnerable so, she did what any bunny would do and she hopped away from them as quickly as she could darting all over the cage desperate to find somewhere to hide.

"What's happening" cried Jimin from next door. "Fuck Jimin, we set off her prey instinct." Jungkook replied he watched as both Jin and Hobi tried to catch her and failed. Her heart rate climbing even higher. They had to do something fast or she would faint from the stress. Luckily Jungkook is a bunny himself, and he knew just what to do. He yanked Jin's cardigan right off his shoulders and laid it down on the floor, and sat down next to it. As soon as the doe saw the sweater she dove underneath it, and Jungkook gently picked up her and the sweater. He wrapped her up snuggly in the sweater and brought her to his chest. "Hush our little doe you are safe no one here will hurt you. Hobi smells a little scary, right? Don't worry he is still the same Hobi." Slowly but surely her heart rate calmed and the trembling subsided. She's asleep.
