Hobi had been exploring the area all around their campsite for hours, like a man possessed. He was tired but he couldn't force himself to call it quits. He was 99.8% sure he caught a whiff of that fox's scent when they arrived. He wasn't crazy that bitch is here, even the inner coyote agree with him and that almost never happened.

His long tongue lawled out the side of his mouth as he panted. He stumbled onto the slow moving stream by accident, but he was grateful he did. There on the other side of the stream was Nayla, and she was on the phone with her back to him. The best part this was because of the stream she would be able smell him.

He originally had spent his whole search swearing he would kill her on sight, however now he had a nagging voice in his head telling him to hide and observe first. He caged his rage temporarily and decided to see what this gut feeling panned out. So he hid behind a nearby bush and concentrated on listening in.

"Our plan has worked out perfectly! You are a total genius, sir. How did you know a threat would them split up?"

"Nayla, none of that matters. How is it on your end of the bargain? Do they suspect anything?"

"Three of them are completely oblivious,  but I think one of them onto me. It's why I was so late reporting. He's been looking for me. I think he took me half drowning his plaything personally."

"Will he be a problem? I have a lot of money into have that doe returned to me."

"Don't worry sir, my packmate Sonny will be arriving tomorrow afternoon. He's a bear, I'm quite unbothered by the little coyote."

Hobi shook with anger and fear. She is working with the lab. They are still after Y/N! We fell right into their hands, we have to go to the others. I have to get back to camp. I have to call Joon!

He knew he was panicking, he knew if she heard him before she got off the phone any chance of fleeing here undetected would snuffed out. Come on Hobi calm down, you can do this. He calmed he's breathing, and continued listening.

"Yes sir, I understand. Tomorrow around the same time. Goodbye."

He waited briefly to make sure the phone call had ended. She crossed the stream almost directly in front him. By the time she caught his scenting was too late, there he stood. He looked rabid, and he might as well be rabid. He circled her. She was terrified, she knew even if she shifted she couldn't best him in a fight.

"Please Hobi, is it? I can explain. They made me do it." He snarled at her with a wild look in his eyes bit in to arm. She screeched in pain. " You don't understand, she was mine! I saw her first, I wanted her first. You ruined everything! I was going to rescue her and invite to join my pack where she should rightfully be! She would have forgave me, but now we will never two of you have already left your disgusting marks on her. I'm not stupid they are irreversible."

You're damn right it's irreversible! She is ours. No one will hurt what belongs to me and get away with it.

Nayla of course couldn't hear his thought. When he let her arm go, her delusional mind believe she had gotten through to him. She was even smiling, and died with that smile on her face as Hobi lunged forward and up to rip her throat open. He shouldn't feel good about this, but he could help it her death had been so satisfying.

'Jin, wake the others we have to leave now.'

'Hobi what's happened? Where are you?'

'I don't have enough time to explain.

'Jin it's not over. We have to get back to the others.'

'I understand we are packing up now.'

Hobi took a steadying breath and pulled out the phone they had bought before splitting.

"Namjoon it's a trap."
