Selfless

Dizzy, y/n felt dizzy. They traveled all night, and all morning. She was having a very hard time keeping up. Her head felt like it was in a fog, she couldn't focus. The three males she was traveling with, kept sending worried glances at her. Namjoon had explained everything on the way out of town. She should be panicking, but Y/N couldn't about anything except how horribly hot she was. She heard talking but she didn't realize Jimin was speaking to her. She felt a cool hand on her face, it felt so good she subconsciously leaned into the touch.

"Shit Namjoon, she's burning up." She whined when Jimin removed his hand. Suddenly Namjoon's face came into view. He quickly lifted her up in his strong arms. She whimpered weakly. It felt like she had no energy, and it was a scary feeling.

" Joon, what are we going to do? We can't keep pushing her like this. Look at her, she is too vulnerable." She looked so frail in Namjoon's arms. Her ears drooped on either side her face, and she was sweating even though it was chilly today.

" We don't have a choice I don't want our tail to have a chance to catch up." He looked down at his precious bundle. "Y/N I know it's hard but I need you to focus on me for a moment." He watched her intently as she looked up at him. Her eyes were hazy but he could tell she was trying.

"Joonie, I'm so hot." She whined

"I know, baby girl, I know. Listen to me you have started the second wave, but it's gonna be ok. I'm gonna put you on on Jimin's back. Your only job is to hold on, you think you can do that?" She didn't answer, she merely nodded her head.

Jimin shifted and Namjoon gently laid y/n on his back.

"Yoongi take up the rear if we keep going we should make it to the rendezvous point by night fall. Keep an eye out for ANYTHING suspicious."

Jimin felt much more at ease while carrying her. At least this way she wasn't stumbling around and she could rest. She cuddled into his neck sighing in contentment. He had always heard that females get really clinging during this stage, he never really understood why that would be until now. They were like her anchor. She was uncomfortable and disoriented, but she knew they would protect her and take care of her.

This knowledge made him swell with pride, as this let him know they were good mates for her. They had been walking for a few hours when they realized the woods had gotten unusually quiet. So quiet, that they were able to hear the audible clicking sound of a gun being cocked. Jimin's heart was pounding, he thought of his precious y/n who was sleeping so soundly on his back.

' Jimin, you and Yoongi get ready to run. I'll keep them busy.'

'No, we shouldn't separate, besides we don't know how many there are.'

'We are so close to the others and we don't have time to argue. The two of you will leave with y/n and find the others, or I will make you leave.'

Humans began streaming out of their hiding places. Jimin felt something heavy knock in to him, it was Yoongi.

'Jimin come on we have to get her out of here.' The two hybrid ran as fast as they could taking advantage of the distraction their snarling alpha was giving them. There hearts hurt as they heard the mournful howl he let out.

They could hear twigs and brush snapping and rustling behind them indicating they were still being followed.

'Tae! If you guys can hear me we were ambushed. We need help.' Jimin could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins. He nearly had a heart attack when Yoongi stopped running.

'What are you doing!? We can't stop!'

'You go on. Don't argue with me, please Minnie. We can't out run them.'

Jimin stood there he was frozen. He looked over his shoulder at y/n, then back to Yoongi. How would he be expected to chose one mate over the other. He couldn't.

'Y/N, sweetheart, wake up! You need to shift now.' He held his breath as she was slow to react. Once she shifted, Jimin carefully picked her up and quickly took her deeper into the woods. He found a suitable hiding spot to hide her, and then began communicating with her rapidly. 'Listen to me Y/N you are in danger. No matter what you hear in that clearing you have stay here hidden.'

She was confused, she didn't understand what was happening. 'Minnie I don't understand. Don't leave me.'

'I have to, I can't leave Yoongi.'
