The Stakeout

Jungkook and the others, were hidden at various locations around the facility that Namjoon and Yoongi were being held. They had been staking the place out looking for guard patterns, and any holes in security. So far, it appeared pretty air tight. There were cameras just about everywhere and the guards didn't seem to follow any specific pattern while patrolling. It was frustrating to say the least, however Jungkook simply viewed it as another challenge.

It was lucky that his rabbit species was  native to the area, and as long as he acted like a real wild hare, no one would pay him any mind. Hobi and Tae were a very different matter. To see a lone coyote in the middle of the day is suspicious, but to see a whole ass tiger,  that would definitely raise suspicions. It was imperative for him to stay hidden at all costs.

' JK, should we try to reach them, maybe they have noticed so weaknesses we could exploit' Jungkook had to admit Hobi's idea was a good one, one he admittedly wouldn't have thought of himself. I guess it's worth a shot.

'Namjoon? Yoongi? Can you hear me?'

'Jungkook? You are here? I hear you, but they took Joon out of the cage hours ago and I haven't heard anything.'

'They took him? Do you know where? We have eyes on multiple areas.'

'I'm sure he will be ok, they haven't done anything to us that they haven't done already.' His words were meant to soothe the younger man's worries, but how could he keep calm knowing that they were being tortured.

'We are working on busting you out. Once we gain enough Intel, we will come up with a plan.'

'No. Namjoon wants to finish it. The man that runs this place will stop at nothing to have y/n. It has to end here, no more running.'

Jungkook had to admit the idea of having a normal life sound like a dream. He smiled thinking of having an actual house to come home to everyday with a nice yard to call their own.

'Jungkook, how is Jimin? Is h-'

'He's alive and well Yoongi. He is healing well, though he has been giving y/n the cold shoulder. It's pissing me off if I am being honest.' JK heard the breath of relief his older packmate released, followed by a chuckle.

'Knowing Jimin, he is probably blaming himself for us being captured. He probably also felt like he failed y/n. You know how sensitive and dramatic he is.'

'I guess you're right maybe he will come around. Is there anything else you could tell me that might be helpful?'

'There is a white delivery van that comes through the multiple times a day. I don't know what it's carry but it may be worth looking into.'

'Yes Hobi mention a van earlier. We will keep an eye on it.'

'I have to go. I hear footsteps, maybe they are bringing Namjoon back. Jungkook, be careful, please. We will talk again.'

Jungkook was exhausted and he knew it was unlikely they would get too much further in their investigation if they didn't properly take of themselves. Though he hated the thought of leaving them, he knew they would get nowhere if they didn't think rationally.

'JK I can see two major holes in their defense from my vantage point. I've been watching the cameras. They only pan left to right, never up and down. Also, there is a small hole in the fence back here.'

'Good catch Tae, listen grab Hobi, we need to head back. We will all put our heads together and brainstorm.'

He wasn't sure why but he was feeling very optimistic. If they could hold out long enough for a plan was set in place they would be free. Free forever to live their live in peace. He allowed himself to daydream of the future. That dream was the only thing keeping him going. He could stop himself from playfully tugging on Tae's tail.

"Look I caught a tiger by the tail is he going to holler." He said with a smile. Tae simply rolled his eyes and removed his tail from the younger man's grasp. He was just glad someone was coping well, they all knew Hobi wasnt. What they didn't know was that Yoongi wasn't either. They couldn't have known that Yoongi was battered and bleeding on the floor of his cage while they spoke. They couldn't have known Yoongi hadn't seen Namjoon in nearly 24 hours. They couldn't have known because he didn't tell them. He didn't want them charging in here without a plan.
